I stopped caring about IUBB after last season. This after 50+ years as a diehard fan. It's been very freeing. Now I have a lot more time to spend with the grandkids and less stress.

SWEETLEMONbrown, the quality of writing in Holt's statement is rather poor. It seems disjointed and is missing a few lines. Holt could have benefitted from some good advice in crafting his words. Maybe he was offered guidance in writing the statement but he chose to ignore it. To me, the statement oddly reflects his time spent in Bloomington. It's sad.

I don't know if Holt is a "good kid" or not. He sure as hell made some really bad decisions going back to his first semester at IU.   I remember reading an interview Holt did about his decision to go to Vermont Academy for a post-high school year. It was before IU started recruiting him. ( I can't link to the interview because my computer doesn't let me link anything here. ) Holt said he was going to Vermont Academy because he and his mother thought it would help him get his "head on straight". That was a big red flag to me that Holt had some problems before he ever came here.   Carry on, Hoosiers.

I have to root for Wisconsin because they beat pUKe and they represent the B1G. Plus they are just fun to watch, especially Dekker and Kaminsky.

Cal isn't the worst coach in D1 but he's the most dirty. Being crooked shouldn't be rewarded. I'm so happy Cal and pUKe got the loss they deserved tonight.

I'm seeing lots of the Badgers' mascot and Wisconsin player stories on truTV during halftime. Also the well-known voice of Wayne Larrivee. So much nicer than pUKe crap.   Second half starting. Let's get it done, Badgers!
