They are much better than we are. They won the ACC outright and are extremely well balanced. They're much better than Iowa and Penn State too, so I’m not buying that comparison (teams we struggle with). We are a 1 dimensional ball club.

Eye test says Miami is much better than we are. Yikes.

I like us here. Went back and watched Miami Drake. Miami’s guards can really shoot it but we have much better guards (especially defensively) than Drake. The defensive pressure on the wing really affected Kent State’s shots. We just need to rebound the damn ball defensively. Miami’s frontcourt has no answer for us. If Trayce, Race, and Reneau give us anything close to what they gave us last night, then we win the game with some breathing room. One of either Kopp or Bates has to knock down open 3’s. Miami is dangerous, but so are we. Galloway and Trayce having familiarity with Pack has to help some. Forgot to mention…… we have the best player in the tournament wearing our jersey. Everyone completely overlooked that prior to playing KSU.

They’d be SILLY to even consider it. Painter would be wise to throw his hat in the ring elsewhere. I’m surprised a bigger name school hasn’t tried to pry him away already.

If Kopp shoots it like he did tonight, and we match the defensive intensity, we are going to be a problem.
