Rabb is 6' 11" tall. He reminds me so much of Zach Randolph (low post). As for Troy being contested at the rim against Hammons: you are forgetting that we now have a true big who is an effective offensive rebounder. I for one would welcome him to help off of Thomas Bryant under the rim. Troy actually shot the 3 at a very efficient clip, just not very many attempts. He's a lotto pick if he can have a VO like soph-junior year jump IMO.

Rabb projects as a 5 in the NBA. I'm not sure how Swanigan being a 4 at Purdue is, in any way, a better situation than being a 4 at Purdue. I'd actually love for him to play the 4 at Purdue. Troy will eat him up out there on the wing.

Someone once bet MSB that he couldnt sh*t on the ceiling.....Michelangelo still owes him 20 bucks.

Jeff Goodman says Purdue is favored. Must not be true.
-
I'd be shocked if he went to Purdue. My guess is California with Rabb and Brown. Cuonzo is great friends with Roosevelt Barnes. Izzo just got the Trey Lyles treatment. Not surprised though.

I actually seen a particular scout give Niego a direct comparison to Jordy. said IU got a 6'2" version of Jordan Hulls. Of course I got excited.

Honestly I think our frontline is nearly identical to UNLV's except we will have serious depth at the forward position. Guard play isnt even close either. Advantage IU. We are winning Maui.

Can we all at least agree that...

This is exactly where I'm at. Honestly, I was at the "whenever Brad Stevens is ready, pull the trigger!" as soon as the season ended. Stevens is doing very well in Boston, but I truly believe he will be our coach in the next 2-3 years. This season I am making a concentrated effort to enjoy this team no matter what. The last two seasons have been dreadful to be a part of. I will be happy during the ups and I wont give a crap during the lows. No more melancholy. -
Is Banner 6 a realistic possibility?

I was just thinking about this. I think Crean could become an elite college coach if they were to move to a 24 second shot clock. I'm not sure the 5 seconds is quite enough to shift the tide though. -

I dont think anyone is arguing that the defense cant improve, I just think its a long shot to think it will improve enough to make us national title contenders. For example. the addition of Cody Zeller took IU from 143rd Def Eff. to 84th in the first year. The second year they were 28th. Thats a 115 point swing that took 2 years. We currently would need a 200 point swing after 1 offseason. Possibilty? Sure. Realistic Possibility? No. -

Really? Who gives a rats ass about whats said in a weight room? Just be thankful we dont have players that say "F**K that n**ga" during a press conference that the entire nation is watching. -

Thomas Bryant is 18 years old but his body is in MUCH better shape than Hammons. What worries me is what will we do if Hammons and Haas are on the court at the same time. -

. He's far and away my favorite guard to watch since Eric Gordon. He's got an NBA ready body, and can completely dominate a game without scoring in double figures. We have to get this kid. HAVE TO!!!! -

Guess who just so happens to be taking a customer out to dinner at Ruth's Chris on Saturday? This guy!! I'll be wearing my IU jersey right under my dress shirt in the event he decides to stay. I plan on ripping off my shirt in front of him and making a complete ass of myself. -

I'm having trouble seeing how this is so difficult to understand. His mother said that this is the date that he set as a deadline to make a decision by. Its not televised. Its family and friends surrounding him for what will be an exciting decision either way. He didn't schedule a presser. Stop rushing to assassinate the kids character. -

No they honestly looked horrible. Skal had one possession that looked impressive. Outside of that, they both looked horrible. These were 1 on 1 post up drills, so that explains a lot. Neither player is very skilled in the low post. A lot of that has to do with strength. -

I watched highlights of their one on one drills against each other. I give the VERY slight edge to Skal. Both looked terrible.
