PREACH!!!!! I cant stand all of the B1G love. they've fallen flat on their face the last two years in the tournament. The B1G is the best conference.

Minimum expectations for the year (if these aren't met, I will be an absolute nightmare for the mods to deal with): 1.) Winning or losing by a very narrow margin in the Maui Inv. 2.) Have a winning record on the road in the B1G 3.) finish top 3 in the B1G 4.) Make BTT Final 5.) 1-2 seed in the tournament 6.) Minimum of an Elite 8 finish #6 is the most important benchmark for me.

. He's blowing up this summer. Can't remember which scout said it but he said that he reminds him of Willie Cauley Stein at the same point in time. I work with a guy who's son plays with Malik and supposedly IU is in the drivers seat by a mile.

This kid reminds me of a much more athletic Colin Hartman. So yeah....Sign him up.

Closer to home and would be playing for a coach and team that likely wont be drowning in turmoil. I worry about the recruits watching us next year. The fanbase is expecting quite a bit out of this team (rightfully so) but we haven't quite cooled on our stance with our coach. The second that this team starts to take on the characteristics of a Tom Crean team, the fans will let him have it and if we thought the end of the season was ugly for Coach last year, then just wait until this team starts to fall short of our expectations. I feel bad for the kids bc I think the fans see this as a final four or bust year. That's asking a lot out of this group IMO.   Edit: I'd like to add that if this team has early success, we could see a major recruiting momentum. Something tells me that Thomas Bryant will attract some studs to come play with him, especially if he's having fun. Bryant, Holt, and Davis would make for one physical frontcourt.

I used to feel this way about every prospect I went to watch in person for the first time. I think television and highlight reels do that to us. I usually expect to get blown away by a players skill and size but end up disappointed. I remember going to the Spiece Run n Slam to watch Spiece play Mac Irvin Fire. The players on the court: Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor, Gavin Schilling, Jaquan Lyle, Trey Lyles, Trevon Bluiett. Out of those players, there were 2 that impressed me. Jabari Parker and Jaquan Lyle. Jaquan Lyle was the most impressive in that game. Scored at will, rebounded, defended every position well, distributed, played under control, got into the paint whenever he wanted. that game alone made me give zero f's about all the negative people had to say about him. If the other guys on that court were pros, then Lyle is definitely a pro and I bet we regret not getting him after we have to play him. Okafor and Lyles didnt even exist in that game.

. Yes he mentions us. Then he says that he speaks with Kentucky is most involved...meaning they are outworking us.

. Rawle is enamored with Kentucky. Not to mention he said that John Calipari is recruiting him the hardest right now. That's what bugs me the most. You can't let people outwork you on guys like this.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I completely agree. I hope they have college gameday against them in Bloomington Bc we are gonna smack em.

It worries me that Miller is recruiting De'Ron. Miller is by far the best recruiter on that list and its not even close.

We also have the worst football program in the entire history of college football. Football drives the big bucks. Unless Nick Saban wants to come to Bloom and resurrect a program that hasnt had any signs of life since its inception, then don't expect any eye popping numbers. You'll only be disappointed. The alumni base and the basketball tradition will land us a ton of free gear and a sizable percentage of the merchandise sales. 

If we schedule HH after BBM we may end up with another Unofficial.

I'd go as far as saying that I will be super pissed off if we don't play Kansas.

I'd be shocked if we get half of their deal.

Bruce Brown is a must get for us.

I'm confused. Is this hypothetical or something that's actually in the works? I think it would be wiser for us to go to Nike and allow ourselves to wear Jordan shoes on the court.

I'm hoping that this is an exaggeration though bc this kid is a BALLER!! Reminds me a lot of Luke Kennard when he was a frosh.

Ive got quite the scoop on this kid. i work with a guy who knows him well. Was kicked out of the Spiece program bc of his father. Was held back in 8th grade bc of his father (recruiting purposes only). Transferred from Norwell to South Side bc his father worked out a deal to be an assistant coach. By all accounts, the kid is a good kid but he's a package deal with his dad. Remind you of anyone?

That would be the #1 class in america.
