Its not a new fan base. Its having a team finally worth celebrating after about 7 years of not even sniffing the post season. How many KC Royals fans did you see out and about before last season? I'm sure they've always been fans just not very proud to boast about losing.

The NCAA is such a colossal joke. Hanner Perea and Peter Jurkin missed a significant amount of time for the bumper sticker bs. They were swift in that judgement against us. Hard to convince me that they dont have a personal vendetta towards IU. I'd be fine with the NCAA being completely dismantled.

The stink over UNC has absolutely affected their recruiting. They aren't even sniffing the usual 5* elite prospects they are accustomed to getting. They are landing some solid talent but they usually could be put down for 2-3 McD's AA's per year. Brandon Ingram grew up a UNC fan his entire life and chose Duke!   I agree with everything else you said.

Cant lose him to Maryland. I like that he is visiting during Hoosier Hysteria and will be able to compare both Marylands MM to our HH. . The atmosphere in and around Assembly Hall is second to none. Not to mention the vibe in B-Town is unmatched as well. He will quickly find out that basketball is the only sport in Bloomington.

It's really not that big of an issue in my eyes. His teammate Jaylen Harris recently committed to Buffalo and stole his phone and pranked him. An innocent prank at that. Sure it may have been in poor taste in regards to the excitement it may have caused within the Buffalo fan base, but innocent in nature. I'm sure his teammate regrets this more than Rawle regrets it happening. His teammate fooled the very fanbase that will be cheering for him next season.

To be honest, I'm not sure your positions on Yogi are accurate at all. Yogi is a great point guard and you will soon find out how lucky we were to have him. I disagree with nearly all of your criticisms of him. Nothing against you personally. I just think you're flat out wrong here.

Anyone notice Thomas Bryant taking a nasty spill towards the end of the clip?

He's an absolute stud. I watched him against Okafor and Jabari Parker (plus some others I'm missing) and he was the most impressive player on the court. Parker was impressive as well. Bluiett, Lyles, Lyle, Okafor, Parker, etc., we're all on the court, so that's saying quite a bit. He did everything. The thing that stuck out the most to me was that he was an intense competitor in that game. The Mac Irvin guys were trying their best to get in his head and all they did was piss him off. He did this another time head to head against Eron Gordon and completely dominated. Look for him to have a great season. If he keeps his body in shape and his behavior in check, he's an NBA player. The ability has always been elite.
