I asked Jerry Meyer what he thought of a De'Ron Davis and Thomas Bryant frontcourt and he said that it would be "one physical, punishing interior duo." Add Kegler and Brown to that lineup and we are likely to be a top 10 defense that has the ability to score. I'm completely fine with Rob Johnson running the point position for a year or two. He can handle the job and make smart decisions.

I'm going to be waiting by my computer the second they are released. I'll never get courtside tix to a Hoosiers game this cheap again.

The talent IS there. Its just that they lost some serious talents. Koenig is a stud. Hayes is a stud. Ethan Happ is going to disappoint a lot of us Bc he's a monster and is relatively unknown to B1G fans. Showalter is also very capable at the 2. Do NOT sleep on Wisky being in the top of the B1G. They have a nice combo of final four experienced players at key positions and very talented players coming up that had opportunities to learn Bo's system. They also got to practice daily against the the group that was one of the best the B1G had seen in a long time.

I agree. His game translates to the next level very well. If he shoots in games this year as well as he did at HH, he's a lotto pick.

I think people seem to think that a non competitive event will match a big game atmosphere. Not gonna happen. There's nothing like a big game at Assembly Hall. The most impressive thing about HH is the build up and the turn out. It's so hard to sustain the energy at HH. Doesn't mean it doesn't impact recruits. Look at our photos from last night and try to imagine how it compared to Keglers visit to MISS ST.'s Maroon Madness during Howland's first year (while the "hype" is in full swing.) I would not accept a commitment that early. I personally love John Beilein's approach. I also feel like that approach is even more effective at blueblood schools with elite coaches. Hold the offer and make the kid feel like it's quite the accomplishment to have earned that scholly offer.

I hope the crowd turns out today. We desperately have to make an impression on Kegler. Him being the only 2016 in attendance, worries me. We have to have a major impact class or we are in big trouble for the following 2 seasons IMO. At least this way we can truly roll out the red carpet and treat him like our only priority.

I have to keep reminding myself that we made the nlcs when we weren't supposed to sniff the playoffs. We should have a shot for the next 5-6 years. This year's playoff experience SHOULD be really really good for these young guys. Hopefully it doesn't shake their confidence in the long term.

BREAKING:  Louisville basketball will be implementing a strict curfew. Tests, such as BAC breathalyzers, hair follicle drug screens, and the smelling of fingers will also be performed on a nightly basis. Coach Pitino is administering the finger smell test himself. Reason being, "If anyone has a nose for this type of thing, its me!" 

  Not saying that there is no way your friend is right but I will say that I have went from having an open mind towards posters who claim to have inside sources, to a guy who believes none of these people. Not after the end of last year, when the realization set in that the Brad Stevens to IU rumor was complete bs. That one cut me deep. Lol.   

I think its going to drag out further than we think but in the end we are going to find out that Rick did know and its going to decimate their entire program. Even Jurich will be out IMO.
