With regards to Notre Dame, Ed Smith and Mike Brey knew each other before all this. Some connections go back to the DMV. I agree I don't see that actually happening, but it isn't random.

Bridges would be huge. This recruitment has been about as close to the vest as any, if anyone predicts it'd be a guess. Definitely a top 10 player.

I'd say there is a chance he doesn't make it to the Oklahoma St. visit. Seems to be between IU and Gtown. Cujo is there through tomorrow so look for news this weekend

I was reminded yesterday of the old saying, "Be better than your problems"  in collegiate sports.    Yogi was/was/is. Troy was/was/is Stan was/was/wasn't so he left. HMP was/then wasn't Devin was/was(arguable)/then wasn't Holt was/then wasn't. Bryant is.   Sure Crean was pressured on this one, but doesn't serve well in a locker room, imo.
