(2017) PF Billy Preston to Kansas

Literally such a wildcard at this point. My main source is a national guy, as most know, and no one has a clue if he's going to be eligible or not. Not too long ago the narrative was "I'd be surprised" but people see coaches getting invested. Speaks to Steve Smith's reputation, but idk, the reality of his academic situation is tricky. So it's going till spring. If UK has a spot and he's qualified, which they need a ton of bodies, I see that more likely when they push. USC can't be discounted either, but the kid has the talent to play anywhere. If anyone is expecting this HH commitment or shortly after (I have not been reading this thread, just saying)...prepare to be let down

(2017) SF Kris Wilkes to UCLA

No info, was just my thought. A poster above has info and said he isn't likely to be back next year
  6. Hey RBB89, I appreciate you keeping everyone up to date with all of this. Thanks!

(2017) PG Tremont Waters to LSU

Elite PG on both ends who will stay 3-4 years is your QB. Keeps the teams identity, leader, attracts others. Wings are plentiful in recruiting. Bigs you can get but they leave.

(2017) SF Kris Wilkes to UCLA

Yeah thats someone who has no clue what is happening, who Kris is, and what is important to Kris and his family
  9. IU put a ton of work in here. Ultimately, backed off after all the fall out from the Prolific Prep move. Scruggs desire to be a PG was a massive deal (I can't emphasize this enough) in this and IU didn't have as clear of a path. IU prioritized Waters at some point. This part is just opinion...it seems IU was not sold on Scruggs as a PG, and if that's what they were going to get, Waters made more sense and was the better get at the position.

(2017) PG Tremont Waters to LSU

An argument could be made that this is the most vital recruit/recruitment right now.

(2017) SF Kris Wilkes to UCLA

Getting a little ahead of ourselves but I actually agree with Wayne except Hartman. I think he comes back and IU doesn't return one of Cujo, Green, Newkirk, Gelon...or Al doesn't come. Not based on info, just the way I see it

(2019) SF Trendon Watford to LSU

The staff knows what they're doing here
  15. Sorta depends at this point. My gut says yes but no decision has been made so I'd be lying if I gave you a straight yes
  16. Just that percentage is in his favor but I could say that about any recruit in the world. Nature of recruiting
  17. Preston is not a Wilkes back up plan

Like the "Waters to UK" stuff...let's take a long, collective, deep breath.

  20. Word around here is he won't leave the east coast or distance is, at the very least, a factor here.
