Archie and Ostrom today...I'd expect Schilling to get in on the action this week. If they go out east, you'll see Bruiser and Archie. -

Honestly, I feel like the D hasn't been horrible. Two major lapses on 3rd down, which they need to correct, but could certainly be worse. -
Okay, so there is more info to be had (week3) than I'm seeing now. Also, good game man.

2-3 also, pulled off literally the closest game all the way through w Bigweave. I think biggest diff in score was 4 and like twice lol. Someone explain the recruiting results to inform me how to go forward?

Oh my...guys, they matter. D1 coaches use them. -

Fwiw, he played in 9 of 14 games and those stats are in 8.7 mpg according to d1. Again, I'm not sold. Just saying. http://www.d1circuit.com/stats/team_instance/2626005?subseason=380949&tab=team_instance_player_stats&tool=2364614 -

I think more than anything this post, which I agree with mostly, demonstrates how thin of a line IU is walking- at least in the immediate situation. 1) I think there will be attrition- but I don't know it. 2) Everything I know about recruiting suggests the recruiting landscape will change for '19's- but do I know it? No. Both of these assumptions suggest Archie and co. will be fine regardless of Forrester. On the flip-side.... 1) As good as of situation as it is to be in... "running" someone out has particular consequences. This stuff becomes a little more personal than I would ever care for but for one- he essentially re-recruited these guys (I don't care about it, but I don't influence recruits) 2) Not taking a more talented and impactful player in a class a year later due to lack of numbers has particular and immediate consequences. I should know a lot more about Forrester. He's from here. He was also stuck behind and out shadowed by serious talent at Westtown. Anyways, it seems Archie and Co. are confident in their evaluations of him. There's also an idea that Forrester projects to be more impactful when IU is ready to be a contender and, thus, more important than the shiny one/done. I'll buy in right now, far too many variables. But it's complicated. -

Sorry, I'm just seeing that in the other thread. Maybe talking in absolutes was misguided. Here's what I know... I can say that I've heard (at the HSBB level) IU is prioritizing RL as the headliner for the event. I can say Tim Langford was consulted on the date before it was finalized. I know from past experience, it's pretty common to have and schedule around one recruit and work from there. Like I said, I knew the date was set quite a bit in advance of the release but I wasn't privy to the actual date. So pretty confident in that, but I assume it's possible the staff picked a day they didn't expect RL to visit.
