He is based in Indiana, he is young, he runs with anything pro-IU - imo.   Still trying to find an explaination as to the Mizzou cut. Reports were that he enjoyed the visit and had some specifics that made it seem like it wasn't total lip service. You couple that with the Fulford/Huntington Prep connection, which I know to be strong, and it doesn't make any sense.   Bryant continues to reiterate that he is waiting until spring - which does help IU I believe as CCG said - so, why cut Mizzou now? I know recruitments can be annoying to some, hence cutting lists, but Mizzou has Fulford? He recruited the Bryant to Huntington. He has an established relationship not only as a coach but from a recruitment standpoint. I don't know, it seems like something drastic happened here but we'll see.   On the other hand, there seems to be a lot of twitter stuff saying Mizzou isn't out at all. Zagoria has been known to run with things a little bit, so don't put it past him that he minced Mom's words to an extent. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem positive for Mizzou.   As for IU and spring, this one is all Chuck. If it were Crean I'd be very concerned about the spring decision. The word is Chuck goes pretty far back with Bryant, and that may have been underestimated in some public reports. He is certainly no IU lean - and that article about SU losing ground that I posted  (mentioned a few posts up) was more about Mizzou being in a favorable position rather than anything else- but IU getting him on campus could be the game changer.

Probably, that is absolute speculation though. IU is on him very hard still, so I'd imagine so. He is visiting ASU this weekend

The change in OG's announcement time was due to a local news station he is coordinating with if that helps. I can never find those streams.

I agree, pretty disappointing on the 2015. Fwiw regarding 2016's, I think Kyle Guy may be there. I wouldn't put him on the guest list yet though.

  The "lost" stuff was mentioned more as it happens at times. Idk, I've heard that scary description before but coaching can clean that up I suppose.    Idk I'm not trying to bring down the mood over here before tomorrow or this afternoon I guess it is at this point. OG has some things to work with for sure and I hope it works out I'm just speculative given the current roster/remaining recruiting needs. 

He's not bad, I'm not saying that. That isn't my argument. Shoots the ball effectively, not limited like TW or some other athletic wings are in that dept. Above average athleticism, nothing earth shattering. Kinda lost on both ends. Mediocre skill set at this point. Good kid.      I'm not bashing the kid, I'm just looking at the entirety of the situation and saying it doesn't make sense in my mind. Like I said, I'll support him here, but adding a wing would need to be a special talent for me. "Legit" could go several ways...what do you mean by that? 

  No. And I don't think this is what you're even asking, but the same kind of reviews were obviously surrounding Victor. Obviously, Victor is the exception to the rule. It's VERY safe to assume OG does not have that work ethic, but can't say anyone does. 

Current roster combined with reviews from people who have seen him. I have not seen him but don't put much into highlight films. I guess I don't buy into the insurance policy for TW when you're already oversigned by 1. I can see taking a big, I can see taking a PG. Adding to the 3/4 spot seems like something you would do if the kid was a very special talent.   Like I said on here before, I have no moral issue with the oversign so I'm not trying to get into that - but it does come up in living rooms so I can see it hurting IU's recruiting efforts going forward.    Crean's going to manage his roster however he pleases, and I know he wants OG bad. Here to hoping he is right on this one!

Shake made some sense. Honestly, I can't really get behind this impending OG commitment. That isn't to say I won't support him but it just isn't making a ton of sense in my mind at this point.

Here is a pretty good article to catch people up on Bryant's recruitment prior to this weekend. Everything seems to point to his order being: 1) Syracuse 2) Mizzou 3) Indiana   JB Staff Losing Grip on Bryant

It's certainly looking like IU will go 1 for 2 here.
