I do think he is in West Virginia right now.

Thomas Bryant's decision seems to be largely influenced by his mother, Linda Bryant, like Camp Crean said above. It's understandable when your child is going to be over 600 miles away. To me this visit it big either way - but it is even more serious if Mom is attending again. Otherwise, it could be a ride with his buddies (Bridges/Jones) from WV to Bloomington. That's not to diminish his interest in IU - clearly Bryant's interest is very high and I did hear Bryant is doing some recruiting for IU on that Huntington Prep team. If Mom comes, imo, that is more serious. Look out for that, she may be the one who needs the most convincing.

Gotta convince mama

(2015) SF Khalil Iverson to Wisconsin
hoosierpap replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I heard back in the summer IU really likes this kid. They showed some interest in the 15 kid Iowa just offered (his name escapes me) recently so I was sorta thinking Iverson may come back into play. -

(2016) PF T.J. Leaf to UCLA
hoosierpap replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I don't think it's in his plan as of now. He knows IU, but IU needs to win some games this year. I can see him making a trip in Jan/Feb (if his HS season allows it) but IU needs to win games. Coaching stability is important here. -
(2016) PG Kyle Guy to Virginia

That is sorta shocking news -
Nothing to suggest IU. Maybe Chuck can pull some magic over time but I'd be skeptical. Fwiw, that link posted above regarding Bryant possibly using his other two OV's was said prior to the visit to Bloomington.
-
Bryant to possibly take two more visits
-
The visit went well and IU fans knowing of him and acknowledging him seemed to really sit well with Bryant. Mama feels more comfortable, but still continue to hear the home angle.

(2016) SF Miles Bridges to MSU

See above; there is some natural interest towards IU. This guy can play -
Ride Coleman here, IU needs to capitalize
-
That'll work!

That was fuuunnnn

I know Bryant is pushing a spring decision date, but it just doesn't seem like it's going to go that long.
-
Certainly on to something here mdn.

Should we really care about players being "Creaned"?
hoosierpap replied to Banksyrules's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Surely you don't believe that roster management is unrelated to results on the court? The guys on the roster play on the court. I may have misunderstood your point there. I've said it a bunch of times - I don't care about the players as "victims" as you state it. It doesn't bug me a bit. But please clarify who you think is aware of the "oversign plan." Are you saying that Crean, his assistants, the players who will be leaving currently on the team, and the recruits who will be replacing them are all aware and informed of this plan? Or are you saying Crean only informs the recruits of his plan? -
(2015) SF Ogugua Anunoby to IU

No, I agree. I feel like I should not have posted that because people are going to interpret it that way. Obviously SU leads now, but he hasn't been to IU so there is definitely still a shot.
