Potential fallout from coaching change
hoosierpap replied to HoosiersLoveBanners's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Did anyone see the rest of the interview? Such weird comments out of an AD... “I’m really disappointed in the rough patch just like everybody else in Hoosier Nation, including Tom and the team,” Glass said. “I truly am. I go to all the games. I don’t like the losses we’ve had, but just like I wasn’t popping champagne corks in January, I’m not ready to slit my wrists now. I sense that some people are starting to pull the razor blades out of the medicine cabinet. I encourage them to put them back.” -

No this is absolutely par for the course right now. Notice what he doesn't say in there. -

DJ my quote function isn't working but I believe this is beyond what Glass thinks. I mentioned to some in PM's/mod forum that the word after the NW game was that the problems with Crean are coming from higher up. Without getting too specific, Glass is going to need to do what he needs to do because it's his job on the line at this point. I mentioned the money/buyout issue a few times on here and it is not an issue. The money is there now and it was there when the extension was negotiated. Glass isn't as stupid as some are making him out to be on that extension. Having said that, I'm not sure it will come to that. -

Not say crean is bad coach just questioning some of his choice
hoosierpap replied to Hoosiers High Life's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Because IU will pull media credentials and Crean is pretty sensitive. Sure, you can get a little edgy if you work for the Star but not for ITH. -

The money wasn't an issue since the deal was struck or the deal wouldn't have been struck in the first place. -
Eric Bossi @ebosshoops Physically, OG Anunoby is filling out and is built awfully similar to a young Henry (you may remember him as Bill) Walker.

Jerry Meyer @jerrymeyer247 Thon Maker (#8/#8) is a great prospect but I can assure u that at this point the product is nowhere near the media/fan hype.
