Fair enough. Our society wants to b*tch and blame. Pretty much that's it.   You'd think Eli Holman wasn't cleared for the Bahamas trip or something. Just because we do our part, doesn't mean the process finishes by the hard deadline. No need for "us" to be informed, until it's a final issue. We didn't need to know 3 months ago, that Hanner was having issues getting approved to enter Canada. 2 Hours before tip-off was plenty of notice   Why is it so valuable an experience for HP, to elicit all this moaning by people? Sure there's some definite value in the trip, but many people point to the real value in being the 10 practices beforehand, which HP attended.   He either took a huge step forward and is going to help this year or he didn't. If he didn't it's not going to materialize during this trip and if he did it's not going to fail to happen without this trip.   He's definitely not "the guy who needed this most"  he's the guy many of us needed to see do well, most, in order to feel good about the coming season. In my opinion, It's more of an 'us' loss than an "HP" loss.

So you wouldn't be whining if we lost like it was a Syracuse game? I find that hard to believe.

I don't believe for a second he's going to lie about a visa issue, if it's a discipline issue.

Maybe we shouldn't be sunshine pumping, but people getting all up in arms and angry is just silly.

I know none of us really know what's going on, but if Morgan and Milton just set dates to visit, why would they be "off the board" now?   I get that on the surface it doesn't make sense to offer 2 guys at their position, but maybe it's to ease them into a commitment during their visits, because 2 more guys are waiting in the wings.

Amazing, because according to Jan Jakich, on his show last week, ONLY Purdue could get former players to field an alumni team and it wasn't something that Indiana could do. Their players supposedly would line up to play, where Indiana wouldn't be able to get anyone...

He may have said it in a less than perfect way, but it doesn't come off as arrogant, to me.   And, in my opinion, social media is a rather anti-social phenomenon. It gives the appearance of social interaction when it really is nothing of the sort for 95% of those involved.

I didn't say coach Knight would advocate that, just that my fellow Marines and those 2 gentleman (and a lot of other people) would know there's little weak-mindedness here.
