He was in the golf cart. Couldn't get a visual. But 2 posters in another thread said he was taller than they expected.

Although, Shaq, yes THE Shaquille O'Neil, set the record for FREE THROWS by an Indiana opponent, going 12-12. -
OG sighting!

I'm not real concerned about the development of Dee Davis!

To which cliche's do you refer? Knights class was in Assembly Hall from me... Unfortunately got a b+ and no recommendation. I came from East of the mall on 3rd to class....5 days a week...

Are you serious? We need a thread!

I stole a ball from Sean Alford (Steve's brother) in Knight's coaching class, running the defensive drill we were just taught. And had a little tit for tat with Brian Dolph. Can I still post?
-
The poster in the know didn't use those words, he merely echoed the overall sentiment of a previous post with the word "true", which may or may not have addressed ALL of the points made in the post. By the way his little damn near nothing one word comments are beginning to get on my nerves anyway...share or shut it

Under the Radar Teams in the Country
HoosierHoops1 replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Is the gap between John Beilein and Tom Crean really so wide that Beilein can lead a four-guard lineup to the Sweet 16 but Crean can't even get an undersized team into the tournament? Since coming to Indiana, Crean has fared fairly well against Beileins Michigan teams, even though Michigan was favored in most of the contests. -

Maybe Holt is the serviceable big man? What game changing guard or serviceable big men did we pass on to get Z? -

Are you trying to say his post was intelligent and my comment was unfounded? Silly... -

Well, to be fair... Etherington did graduate and Cody went pro early (and might even have his degree by now), so the only "graduation failure" of that class was Remy. Next year should be Yogi, Hanner and Nick. -
Fair enough! I have no link to them, although I am from Southern Indiana
-
I understand that Hova, It's just humorous that a guy can't just say, "We really need Hanner to step up this year. I'm not worried about anyone else, because if Hanner is ready it could be a good year, if Hanner hasn't improved I don't think we'll be that good." Why's it always have to be a pointed out Crean issue? I know, just as you do, people will not need prodding to gripe at CTC if we have a poor season. But, if he have a great season, but lose by 15 in the great 8, the same people will wave the same pitchforks
-
Isn't it funny. If Hanner has worked his butt off and improved, all is fine with Crean. If Hanner hasn't improved and doesn't become a monster piece on this team, it's a Crean issue and the pitchforks will be out...

I was ready to semi-apologize for the way it sounded until I got to your last sentence. Semi-apology rescinded.

No. You never have to eat crow for saying, "Welcome to the team, Nick. I hope you do well." -
BTW, MSB is from Indiana and they moved to Texas when he was a kid. Had he stayed in Indiana, he might have made the all-star team and I can't help but believe that when he hit 5 or 6 3's against the team from south of the river everyone would be griping because we didn't give a scholly to that Priller kid from Indiana rather than taking some guy named Hoetzell from out of state.
-
Did you expect his reply to be about how dominant April is on the defensive end and how he has an array of low post moves, but still need strength and improved footwork, how well Priller plays the top in the zone and how no one has been able to stop him on offense or how Holt was a shorter Vonleh, but who had a better mid-range game and was just as good from 3? Weird how his "personal observations" mirrored the consensus. I don't have issues with anyone on this roster. It'll all shake out...
