Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets
HoosierHoops1 replied to WayneFleekHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Yeah, Maybe. Except, in reality, the "big guy" who was getting over 29 a game, got 8. Yep 8 minutes. Coincidental that Luke Fisher sat for 7 and the "old big" played only 8? As the back-up that never played last year Luke averaged more than 8. -
Oh oh. That could be big

You're getting sillier and more transparent with every post. He has 10 points in 19 minutes and the very next game albeit a year stronger, older and more prepared he gets 19 in 33 minutes. And about that thought WOJO would have played Fisher and Vonleh together, who knows? But the "other big guy" who was playing over 29 minutes a game got a whopping 8. And I'd bet 7 of those were when LF was out. WOJO the nations best coach because Luke Fisher had a good first game. If you can't see that Kenny Johnson was the 'recruiter on record" for many of our problem recruits, you're not open to anything not being an anti-crean. Luke Fisher verballed and signed with the players he met while visiting, not those in his class. Who couldn't or wouldn't be motivated by Cody, Vic, Hulls, Watford, Creek etc etc etc. Crean may have been fooled by the "appearance" that Troy, Noah and Stan gave off, but it's not like red flags abounded and he refused to acknowledge them when accepting LOI's. I'm not the biggest Crean fan these days, but the constant attacks IN EVERY THREAD, is nauseating. It doesn't matter the subject. I'm sure the off-topic forums about the best brewery in Bloomington has turned into an anti-crean thread. When someone goes to Thomas Bryant thread because there's a new post and it's something anti-crean. They want something about Thomas Bryant. How about Anunoby and Morgan? Anti-crean posts. Where's my OG and DM info? How about Butler pregame thread? It'll be all about anti-crean with damn little Pro-IU. People don't want to read the same thing in every post, that's why they attempt to have a different subject matter and a different direction. I don't race in and make pro-Crean remarks, but, when someone in a totally unrelated thread make silly anti-crean remarks, I'll typically respond.

Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

You just labeled me. Why's it ok for you? In retrospect, I hope that joker didn't get paid for that post because the only part that wasn't plagiarized or common knowledge, was fictitious. -
Thanks. Everyone keeps referring to it as a year.

I agree with the best 7 or 8 guys getting the minutes, predicated upon positions, but it had NOTHING to do with MQ last night. It was neccessity -

Rob Dauster, he had shoulder injuries and he scored 10 points in 19 minutes in his last game. oh yeah, if Marquette had Noah Vonleh last night LF might not have gotten 33 mins either! -

One question I have, is if Luke Fisher played a game on 12/22/13 and informed the staff at some point afterwards, why is he eligible to play a game on 12/16/14?

Fisher had his best game at IU in his last game. He was ready to break out, this time last year.

Spouting off.

Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets
HoosierHoops1 replied to WayneFleekHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
It's a really silly comment, in my opinion. Luke has practiced his arse off for 12 months, he didn't need babied in, he needed to play. Their tallest other player was 6'7" and there were only 2 subs to go around. It's kind of a slight to everyone with common sense to act like WOJO did some masterful job of tightening the rotations. I watched the game. The entire game. I've NEVER watched an entire Marquette game. EVER. I watched because of Luke Fischer. I didn't want him to fail (that's not me) but this writer is a little off the deep end. Remember, Lukes BEST GAME came in his last game at IU. He was ready to break out. Also, NO, Will Sheehey didn't graduate before Luke arrived. Silly comment part does not address you Wayne but the writer. -

It's an ok article. I just don't know why writers ramble so much these days. By the time they finish their good story becomes monotonous -
I'm just gonna leave this right here

I don't get how some hack at the Boston Globe writing about it somehow legitimizes the non-story. -

Yes. We had it in hand and it should have never became a game, much less a loss. Hopefully it's something they DO learn from. -

The rest of the team must have been listening to the "fans" about how easy eastern Washington would be to beat. -

Let's ban the crowd -
"It's made it all the way to Boston" Matthew Glenesk, matthew.glenesk@indystar.com Do you still drive a horse and buggy?

The dynamics of that time period caused a lot of 'misses' and the uniqueness of the situation is still causing problems now. It'll get rectified, I believe, in '15 and with '16's recruits.

So we prob have the best bad loss in the conference, and 1 legit loss?

IU vs Grand Canyon game thread

Wasn't GC picked to win the WAC? -
Looks like Nebraska went into the game with the same mindset as most Indiana fans... and it cost them.

See you guys later. I'm done with this silly shit! There's nothing, absolutely nothing, enjoyable about the site right now. There's been enough time wasted on it.

It's a different world and I get all coaches are dealing with it, but Coach Knight would have a Senior Cody and a Sophomore Vonleh at his disposal this season and we'd be top 3.

who's the right coach?.
