Voted just now. Vic up 95. I didn't look to see when voting closes. Does anyone know? We need to keep this thing moving.

Grad transfer rule article citing Mo Creek
LockdownD replied to All_Hoosiers's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I hope Mo has a successful season. He's a highly skilled player that should provide excellent leadership. The guy has a "no quit" attitude. Best of luck. -
His mom better go down and run that vacuum. I'll bet it will be in the same spot when his mom returns.

I'm afraid Luke's injury will be a problem. Doubt that he will be a starter. Jeremy Hollowell will need to contribute more offensively this year. I think the game was a little faster last year than JH was comfortable playing. I think it messed with his shooting rhythm. I'll bet he's got that jumper ready to go.

Voted for Vic. He's up by 17. Hoosier Nation > Illini.

Another vote for Vic. I really enjoyed voting against Nick Anderson. That image of him hitting that last second shot to beat us is seared in my brain.

What Non-Conference Team Would You Like To Play?

I would like to see a home and away series with Louisville. Kansas would be my second choice. -
Coach Crean gives updates on injuries
LockdownD replied to OliviaPope40's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
He had surgery in July and didn't play the fall season. He did resume pitching in January as I recall. I suppose this all depends on how significant the tear is in Luke's socket. Does this interfere with his ability to move and play at the level needed? Maybe it's such that he can tolerate the discomfort and still perform. I hope. But if it's torn cartilage, it's not going to go away. -
Vic is cruising. Should be matched up against Nick Anderson next round. I was at the game when Anderson hit a last second shot against IU to give Illinois the win. Payback.

Coach Crean gives updates on injuries
LockdownD replied to OliviaPope40's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I was concerned when I heard Luke suffered a torn labrum. My youngest son had a torn labrum while in college. He was a pitcher. In his case, surgery was necessary to trim the cartilage otherwise his range of motion and strength in the shoulder would not be optimal. I realize there is a difference in baseball vs. basketball, but this injury is likely not a quick fix. -
Thanks for sharing. This is the kind of post that helps reduce my stress level. We are going to need the freshmen: healthy and ready to compete.

(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon
LockdownD replied to All_Hoosiers's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Seems like the relationship that Coach has built with Jaquan is critical. Sounds like Jaquan trusts Coach full well knowing Crean is going to tell Jaquan what he needs to hear not necessarily what he wants to hear. Talented kid from the great state of Indiana. Hope he makes the best decision for his basketball future and beyond. -
(2014) QB Alexander Diamont

I'm really looking forward to seeing Zander coming to IU. Everything about him impresses me. He is a proven winner. He encourages other recruits to come. He seems to have an attitude with regard to the 2 star rating which he feels is because of his size. Hope this young man brings that "nasty swagger" to Bloomington next year. Do we know if he has gotten his academics taken care of so that he can enroll 2nd semester? I thought I rea something about him hoping to get himself enrolled so he could participate in the spring. -

A "mutual interest" between JL and IU. I'm not sure what to think. -
Derek Elston - IU Director of Player Development
LockdownD replied to ccgeneral's topic in Hoosiers in the Pros
Good for Derek! Way to shoot the rock. Now here's a guy that battled injury problems that really kept him from competing at his best . -
Proud to be one of the Hoosier faithful. Go Vic.

Thanks for the link.

Nice stat CWat. Wonder if his team won?

(2014) SF Trevon Bluiett to Xavier

An official to MSU? Well, that's interesting. However, I still think he going to Butler. -
Voted for Vic!

Probably right. It's just that so much is riding on Noah's play that some of us get a little anxious when he's hobbled.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like we'll have these guys back soon.
