I was really hoping to see Jeremy step it up during his sophomore season and it didn't happen. He may have been in the dog house but I do think he was given opportunities to show that he could contribute at a level a Big Ten player should. My opinion is that he plays soft and I don't think it bothers him enough to do something about it. He might be better suited somewhere else.

I've been a Reds fan ever since the "Big Red Machine" played. Sparky and the boys were fun to watch. Will be interesting to watch the team with Price as the manager. Now, I maybe a Reds fan, but I will follow with interest any IU player. So, White Sox fans, is Josh Phegley going be catching or is Flowers going to be behind the plate?

I've been a Troy fan all season. He's always had freakish athletism but couldn't use it affectively. I think he wasn't prepared for what the league play was going to be like and how fast the game is. I think he will be a 24/7 guy this summer. He needs consistency with his jump shot and that comes with preparation on his part. I would really like to see him use that deceptive length to cause turnovers. In my opinion, he would benefit from watching tape of next years wing opponents and see their tendencies. This guy has athletic gifts. We have only seen glimpses of what he can do.

That extra time in Cook Hall is time well spent.

I must be addicted to IU basketball. Disappointed as I was after the senior night loss, I'm looking forward to today's game. I expect Michigan to come out hot seeking revenge for that AH loss. If they come out and "punch us in the mouth," I want to see these Hoosier get up and hit back again, and again, and again. Hate to lose.

Clay City beat White River Valley in overtime and will take on those Bloomfield Cardinals tomorrow night. Go Eels.

I tend to agree with you on the point that injuries can affect draft stock. Especially this year as this class is loaded with "potential." Why would I want someone in a boot, when I can get an injury free prospect?

I was afraid of this. I had mentioned I had heard of his injury on Wednesday night at the basketball game. The gent that sits beside me had attended the baseball game and had concerns for Halstead. Rotten luck.

I went to Dayton that year to watch the Hoosiers play. We won the first game and then lost to Kentucky by a bucket. We had been rated #1 that season. Scotty May was lost during the Purdue game that year. Breaking his arm at West Lafayette cost us back to back championships.

His coach says he's a big time shooter. Has been playing and scoring against some JUCOs. Oh, I think he'd look great in candy stripes.

I really believe if Jurkin could have helped us during the B1G season, he would have been utilized. His physical limitations due to an apparent chronic lower leg injury makes me think he will not be on the team next season.

I heard that Halstead got hurt. Do we know anything about this? Got his foot caught awkwardly in the turf and went down. I heard this at the basketball game last night from a fan who had attended the baseball game prior. The fan thought Halstead might have hurt his knee. Just wondering if anyone had any info.
