Well, this is disturbing. Swanigan is an elite in-state talent and we need talent to compete. However, the baggage that this kid apparently has on him makes me question his recruitment. Caleb, the kid, may be a talented, hard working, good student athlete. It's this guardian/agent situation that is frankly a red flag. Barnes sounds like a handler and Caleb is a business venture. Ugh.

Thank you. I've been celebrating Mother's Day this's week at Brown County State Park with my granddaughter (and her Mommy and Daddy). Like Happydaze, I'm so tired of winter like weather that a camping trip was in order. Nothing better than making memories with my little Hoosier girl. Happy Mothers Day to all Hoosier mothers and grandmothers.

Saw where Chapman is to be activated for Friday evening's game at Great American. Will be great to see him take the mound again. Then on the other hand, it seems that Bruce may have a torn meniscus in his left knee and need some surgery. They project him out 3 to 4 weeks. Time for Heisey to step up.

Swanigan needs to be top priority.
