Indiana @ Michigan Post-Game Thread
LockdownD replied to MartintheMopMan's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
This should prevent the problem of not having "fresh legs" that was said to have happened against Minnesota. -

Enjoyable game tonight. I think I'll watch it again on Big Ten Network at 5:00 tomorrow afternoon. -

Going to the game and I'm looking forward to a win over Minnesota and watching the Firecracker jump rope team at the half. Go Hoosiers. -

Your school was affected by the restraining order and eliminated by a team that may have to forfeit that win. After a year has passed and graduation of some participants happened, how do you feel about gaining a win by forfeit? Not saying a consequence isn't justified, but those that needed are likely gone. -

Oh, this is going to be interesting! First, let me just say I don't condone fighting. You can compete and "battle " through adversity without embarrassing your family, your school, and yourself by fighting. But........the IHSAA suspended two schools last year for fighting at the end of a boys game between Griffith and Hammond. It didn't last as a judge issued a restraining order which allowed the boys teams to participate in last years tournament. So, is there a double standard? -
This whining was a big mistake. I would expect him to get the royal treatment when he returns to AH. I remember when Bruce Webber, whinner that he was, returned to AH and the students wore baby bibs and pacifiers. Get over it.

Indiana v. Northwestern POSTGAME Thread

I've noticed the same thing. Troy has a tendency to follow one turnover with another. I wonder if there is an understanding that he needs to slow down and the bench is a tool to help do that. Also, it helps the team avoid running 17's as a punishment for excessive turnovers in a game. Clearly, the team is buying into valuing the ball and defending as a team. -
They mentioned Kendall Stepens will not make the trip to Iowa tomorrow. Due to personal reasons. Interesting.

I noticed the same problem. I think Thomas looks so awkward trying to get back. Max can execute the hedge better than Thomas. -

Lower tier teams because we put them there. If MSU gets beat by Maryland tonight, they will have the same record as Northwestern. The college season has been crazy. Teams get hot and cool down for various reasons. The Hoosiers look ready to take on anybody. Hope they stay hot. -

I love watching this team play. The intensity was great. Sharing the ball gave us a balanced scoring attack. We're 7 and 0 and we're the team to catch. Great to be a Hoosier. -
Jaquan Lyle has 2 points in this game. I'm shocked. I thought he would do very well against PU's guards.

Vic needs to take it easy. When he comes back, he'll be at full tilt. Hope the alumni group will be wearing the IU gear. Rock those candy stripes warm-ups. Hoosier nation is everywhere.

Hartman and OG were rebounding and Hartman's elbow hit OG's head. I was relieved to see him back in the game. -
IU vs Minnesota Post Game Thread

At the end of the game, I thought it ironic that the Minnesota players were complaining to the refs about them fouling IU and no whistle.
