Indiana @ Illinois Game Thread- 3/7 - 8:00pm - FS1
jk34 replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Although we gave up more points than Achie would like, I love watching this team starting to understand this system. It's a thing of beauty. We tend to get beat on the hockey assist when teams are moving the ball. Points in the paint are becoming hard to come by for the opposition though. This is Rob's team, and I believe Archie told him so. Clear out for your freshman pg(100th ranked). Still thought Romeo had a good game. -
That's definitely my frustration as well. I believe next year we'll be talking about what seed we're going to be, instead of trying to claw our way in.

These ladies are going to be competing in the uppper echelon of the B10 soon. Minus an athletic big, this team is deep and talented every else. Yeaney could be an All American by the time she graduates. She's a mixture of Vic and OG. Fun(and frustrating) team to warch.

These drastic changes are great. Where the Hell is Race, Jake, or Clifton. -
This will be Rob's team

Thanks for sharing that. Loved the locker room celebration. These guys absolutely care for one another! (DF was awesome as usual)

DD is usually the first one in the buffet line when it comes to eating.

Won 53% of his games as a coach. Not sure that gives him much credibility to criticize our current coach the way he does. "Little" Archie is a completely immature and belittling thing to call another man. Among coaching circles, Archie is well respected. Dan was an average player and below average coach. Let's not make him out to be anything other than a bitter alumni with a microphone.

They will not do any better than Chambers, that's for sure.

Add Rob and TJD to that group. That is a group I would be very excited about on both ends of the floor. -
That's why these kids should be able to make the decision to go pro after high school. Very unfortunate for him.

How do we even know what our "full potential " is with the amount of injuries we've had to endure. Archie is doing an unbelievable job considering the circumstances -

When Rob gets healthy, there should be no arguments about who our pg is! -
(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

My biggest concern would be his ball handling. Not sure if the wrap has anything to do with it, but seems to be a little hesitant. Running iso's and p&r's, he'll need to tighten that up for the next level. Very easy fix though. -
Kept the turnovers down

If we were to leave Adidas. Who is your pick?

What a deal!

Talking to one of the assistants, the feeling is mutual!

Complete lack of respect for other people's opinion. That's all you need to know about a man. Don't believe he is much of an asset or ambassador. Thank goodness he has no influence on any of these kids deciding where they go to school. Last thing, he has chastised anyone who criticized Meyer or Alford. Definitely not someone I want representing my University!

Couldn't agree more. As is the case with Archie, there is a learning curve when you start getting high quality talent. You have to change some of your coaching philosophy on the offensive end. Really excited to see where these two coaches are taking their programs!

Just curious. Who are you a fan of? She is getting the most talent than anyone ever has here. Just don't understand the negativity you always have against IU.
