Guard play wins and loses games in college. Case in point: Carolina last night. PU is losing around 34 pts, from their starting guards/wings. I believe they have the frontcourt depth to match up with anyone.

It seems some of the people saying Woody won't do anything in this X situation, are the same one's who couldn't believe he "sacrificed" our tournament chances, by suspending his players a game! Running a program with 18-23 year olds, is similar to running a daycare! These kids are from all walks of life, right and wrong has a different definition for them. In no way, am I defending X's actions.

In no way am I defending X, or his lack of judgment, but to convict a young man within 24 hrs of the incident, is what's wrong with society! There's only a handful(not literally) of people who know the whole story.

Losing Matta and Fife, will have no impact on our program moving forward. For the simple reason, 2 of the 3 recruiters you mentioned above. Love Walsh's comment about getting kids on campus, and letting Woody close!

Is the huge loss in optics, recruiting, or in game strategy? Not being combative, but I've not heard a current player or recruit, mention Thad Matta once. He was a very good coach, and a good guy, however the 3 guys on staff, are the type of guys these young players relate to.

TB definitely showed he has the ability to be a 3L scorer, albeit a small sample size. Really liked his array of offensive capabilities. Hopefully everything slows down for him, in year 2.

Yes! A guy that can get his at the end of the shot clock, last 2-5 minutes, and offensive breakdowns. 3 level scorer, as well.

Woodson has been through the full circle of basketball, from player to coach. Most importantly, he's helped raise good children. I may not agree with every game decision he makes, but he is a man of integrity, and I'll trust his personnel decisions.
