Just a pet peeve of mine. You are a consistently excellent poster!

Good post and I don't want to get too socio-political on this thread...but: I don't give a rat's ass whether he's white, black, green or plaid, I just want him to be the cocky/great shooter/pain in the ass that ticks the other team off.

Yup. Noah Vonleh's minutes per game average was lowered by...say...the two fouls he picked up in the first two minutes and the four fouls in a total of ten minutes vs UConn? Or the 17 minutes in the Kennesaw State blowout, or the early foul trouble vs Iowa? Vonleh played over thirty when he wan't in foul trouble. Period. Yogi selfish? Who else could create their own shot when the shot clock was winding down? Yogi was 40% from three. Would you have rather that Jeremy, Stan or Austin took those shots? The team thought it was a GOOD IDEA to turn the ball over way too much? All right, I understand that's hyperbole. Turnovers are a big part of why we had a down year. A down year with three freshmen starting; two of them in ball-handling positions. Save the condescension; we all know that needs to be fixed. Oh, and our "laughable" offensive sets produced top ten offenses nationally and the best offense in the B1G for two straight years before last year. Sheesh.

USC G Byron Wesley off the board

Not true and not a problem. Allegedly young Mr. Wesley is a defensive stopper and a very good student. -
James Blackmon Jr. Rob Johnson Max Hoetzel Dennis Hopper in Hoosiers

He's 6'5" 210 lbs. That makes him a three/wing. -

Cunningham just re-tweeted about a woman player who committed to South Carolina. Tea leaves reading like Frank Martin is gonna get him. -
Their tailor?

Tijan Jobe was absolutely a hit if you define "hit" as..."I'm glad he took up a scholly for the time he was on the team". Under that definition: Fischer was a big miss. Abell was an in-betweener. Patterson never took up a scholly; he was just a recruit when it was all said and done. -
2014 big man - Idrissa Diallo

That about sums it up. Also...big time program in big time conference with lots and lots and lots and lots (and lots) of immediate available minutes for a big. -

Nice list! Two minor addendums for me: 1) Matt Roth cannot be a CTC recruit; believe he was signed before CTC was hired. 2) Hanner is not yet a miss, and for our sake, he better not be considered one by the end of next season! Also, it's hard to call PJ a miss and Mo Creek a hit when both are great kids who never got to perform because of injuries. -
2014 big man - Idrissa Diallo
Stuhoo replied to Hoosier_Cat_42's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Wants a warm climate, strong academics, and a multi-cultual community with acceptance of his Muslim culture. Seems like a no-drama recruit who's squared away, but may be more inclined to staying on the west coast. However, there must be some connection to prompt our inquiry, so I will remain hopeful. A true big who is athletic and squared away on a personal level? Sounds good. -
A summary thought: We have only one active healthy player for next year above 6'7" (Hanner). We have one other active, healthy player who plays near the basket (Devin). We need two more, and as of today, these are our potential (known to the public) options: Josh Cunningham Justin Martin Link Kabadyundi Deng Deng Marial Shavok Feel free to add to this summary list...something's gotta give!

Forgot...True that, unless there's a waiver to play closer to home (we're halfway to California!) ;)

Per ITH, Ryan is having shoulder surgery next Tuesday and would then be out only 4-6 months, which would make him game ready between September and November. Hmmmm.
-
Very, very good player. Would be a great addition.

This should be pinned. An instant classic.

PJ has never been healthy enough to be able to compete for a few minutes per game. Look at his high school videos. When PJ was healthy, he was raw, but quite athletic. Now, he is not healthy. -
