Stuhoo replied to Hwy 1's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I would not be shocked if he didn't choose IU. I would be mildly surprised, though. -

"Work hard in silence, let the success make noise". Per Devin's re-tweet of Troy Williams today. Good to see him connecting with those who could be his future teammates. -

Stuhoo replied to BtownBanners's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Answer...ALOT! It is truly, truly enjoyable to see 15 second flashes of BigBlew Madness interspersed with a 20 minute segment of CTC and the ESPNU studio guys discussing Hoosier hoops! Enjoy, Kentucky fans. Enjoy. -

Does Tom Lyles take his talents to Lexington?
Stuhoo replied to mdn82's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Tom Lyles has already taken his talents to Kentucky, along with his stints in the CBA and NBA! From Trey's USA Basketball U-16 profile: "Born Trey Anthony Lyles in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, on Nov. 5, 1995, but currently lives in Camby, Ind. Son of Jasenka and Thomas Lyles, has one older brother, Kyle, and two older sisters, Tanika and Kristina. Father played basketball at Panola Junior College (Texas) and Kentucky, and played professionally in the NBA, CBA and Canada." This bio braggadocio would be quite impressive were it not a big fat stinking lie. -

Ron Howard will make an appearance as "Uncle Cody".You can be cast as his simple country wife, who is secretly Uncle Cody's nympho love slave every time she gets him alone. ;) -

It's all speculation when a recruit is NOT a media hog. Tight-lipped families are a good thing (except for our tea-leaf reading). I shall hope, and stay tuned, and hope. -
As The Two-Guards Turn! ...On a New Network!!

I'm actually thinking of selling the movie rights. Either Chuck Norris or ccgeneral will play the lead.. I will cast myself in numerous scenes with Jessica Alba. -
(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon
Stuhoo replied to All_Hoosiers's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Back on topic: If sports is entertainment, Jaquan Lyle is the ultimate recruit. The kid can play, The kid attracts drama, The kid has got, as they would say in Boston, a "wicked awesome" sense of humor, Other players love hanging out with him, Wherever he is, that place (for better or for worse) becomes more interesting. I stand curious and bemused by the continuing saga of Jaquan Lyle. I think I may have another episode of "As the Two-Guards Turn" in me!! -

Who will greatly exceed expectations and/or underachieve this year? I'll set the standards: Expected to start and thrive: Yogi, Will, Noah Steadying influences: Evan, Austin Upside + frustration at times: Jeremy Skilled and developing but not strong enough: Luke and Peter Energizer bunnies with developing skill: Troy, Hanner, Stan and Devin Not much run: Colin I'll give it a try first: Overachievers: Austin. Hits shots, plays smart, sees the floor more than we ever thought, especially during crunch time. Hanner: Luke's injury forces him to be on the court a lot during cupcake time. He gets confidence and stays wholly in the mix. Below Expectations: Stan: Game is too fast for him. Loses minutes to Evan. Peter: Hoosier Hysteria performance is a mirage. What say y'all?

Me and Nipples (and Angler?) have the Florida angle covered: Gainesville is land locked; the closest beaches are over 90 minutes away. The weather is completely stellar, except from June through September, which has little effect on the primary campus year. The coeds are as hot as the summer weather, but no better nor worse than who an IU Bball player will consort with. The campus is beautiful. UF's advantages: Weather, playing time. IU's advantages: Fanbase, basketball culture, tradition, Rob Johnson Tie: Women, campus, academics, facilities, conference (yes, I know that B1G is better, but both are majors) Personal preference: Coaching staff, teammates -
Stauskas, but two inches taller.

Major league shooting stroke. Not just because they always go in on highlight vids...because that is a major league shooting stroke.
