I'm not sure whether we're in any real stage of pursuit for Anthony Mack

He ain't gonna be a '4' at 7'2". Perimeter ability at that size and still zero stars on the 247 composite? That sounds like a big guy that refuses to go to the rim. I suppose the zero stars could be because he hasn't been in the US very long, though. Averaged 3.0 ppg and 2.5 rpg in a few contests with Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas last high school season. Appeared to have a few low-end power conference interests; Colorado pulled their interest when they beat Purdoodoo for Evan Battey last week. To say that he is a "project big" would be an understatement. To say that he is closer to Jeremiah April than Haas or Hammons coming out of high school would be far more accurate.

It seems to me that pretty much none of the top point guards have committed yet. None. I'm sure all of this jockeying is based on info that coaching staffs are getting, but it's all but impossible to read tea leaves as an outsider when so many of them are preferring the same five or six teams.

Well, at least Calipari can rest assured that those student athletes of his have received an excellent college education, and that so many of them have their degrees as a foundation for their future, so that unscrupulous people can't take advantage of their NBA or D-League earnings.

All five thugs chase MSB around the court until Tijan Jobe parachutes down from the rafters, captures all five thugs with his magic liger-like powers, and cages said thugs. Just when you think you've seen the entire surprise, Martha whips off her wig and frumpy dress, to reveal that underneath, it is Coach Bob Knight. RMK chokes out the thugs, switches his presidential endorsement from Trump to Priller, and the women's team pre-season layup drill begins. (at least I think that's what is gonna happen. I can't be 100% sure)

Whenever I hear a coach talking about making things "simpler", I start to worry about that player. I wouldn't worry yet. CTC is accurately identifying his past problems. He hasn't been cleared to play since then, so I think he is saying that the fixes for them are only "hopes" until we see them implemented on the court.

Yes! This is why I'm a fan: Unusual skill set (6'10" with a plus handle and range) and a great kid. You can build strength, but ya can't build height in a young player. ITH article says coach Chuck M was watching him all summer very quietly so that no one would see our interest and join the hunt. I like that a lot too.

And they keep trying to find basketball and coaching reasons why recruits don't want any part of them. When, in reality, it comes down to less attractive women and a butt ugly campus. It's hard to fix ugly!
