I can't chat during bball games...The game is on and there shall be NO distractions.   I much prefer a bball game thread so that I can go back after the game, second guess what everyone said, and make fun of it. ;)   Chats in the off-season are excellent.

   

    That stat is true, but a bit deceptive.    Three of our five guys that will handle the ball are returning, and one of the other two is our highest rated incoming player and not turnover prone.

In terms of actual scoring production coming back, Ohio State and Michigan (both at 42.7) return the lowest percentage in the league.

    I hear ya.   Personally, I don't care; I'm more than good with this young man.  He will represent Hoosier Nation proudly.

Random thinking out loudness:   Other two schools closer to home for him, but not that close.   Rice is fantastic academically. IU is no slouch.   We are the basketball school, in the big-time conference.   AC would need to work a bit on his jump shot, but would arrive equipped with toughness, quickness, pg mentality, leadership, character, smarts, and defense. Also needs to work on his height ( ;))

  Dredging up our worst performance of the season? Unnecessary imo.   We all know that we had some bad losses and some unexpected wins last year, but I don't see you reminding us all that we beat Michigan last year every time the Wolverines are mentioned.     Just sayin'.

Conway seems to have tremendous leadership capabilities (QB of the football team and all).   For me? Conway > Edwards

There are A LOT of good 2015 guard prospects out there, but what I especially about Shake Milton is:   Apparently he's a very good student. He's a young junior, and still growing/developing. He's an 88% (!) free throw shooter. He goes by "Shake".

  NOT like Sheehey or Oladipo. Like Devin Davis. Unranked, athletic, showing promise early, and full of potential.   Besides, don't we have one of top couple classes in the B1G coming in this year? Other than OSU, our class that includes JB2 and Rojo alone puts us in high status.

We only have one or two rides likely available for 2015.    I'm quite sure we'll get a quality player.

PJ can keep his scholarship, be a presence with the team, and get his education as promised.  That should be done, and will happen.   From a basketball standpoint, if he can't play, we can accomplish those things and still free up the scholarship for a healthy player.

Bennie Seltzer is a good man. If that were so, that would be just fine and dandy by me. Furthermore, I find it curious that a day or two after the Martin news was widely reported, nothing has been officially released, and CTC now refuses to comment. If there is still no press release tomorrow morning, I would NOT be surprised to see Coach Seltzer return.
