I think that Troy is the type of player that needs to play to his strengths; athleticism and high motor. With those strengths naturally comes a higher number of turnovers. With age, experience, and court time, those turnovers will automatically and gradually come down, just like they gradually did during his freshman year. He is a player that obviously buys into the coaching and training staff; those are the players that correct and improve upon their deficiencies. One other thought: Troy is currently a potential game changer on the offensive end; for him to reach his potential, he has to make some real impact on the defensive end. He's too talented not to.

If I am ever in Bremen, Indiana I am sure as hell watching an IU game with ccg. Most informed poster AND creates the most belly laughs. -
Every healthy player, including walkons, has played. That means yes for Tim P, no for Jeremiah.

Just read that JB2 has been the backup point guard. Question...how many turnovers in the first half??

Tis a good reminder for Hanner that bad decisions have consequences. -

Hoosier basketball is meant to be entertaining. So far, this thread has helped to meet that goal! -

I also predict that in his first game, Middle School Bob will do a lineup of five Canadian thugs at once. Sacre bleu!

(2015) JUCO PF Ray Kasongo

Can't get into Oregon but being recruited by Cal-Berkeley? I found this discussion in the comments section of the Oregonian newspaper that may explain the issue: Sportsrighter 9 days ago If the kid cannot get in at Oregon; how does he get in at Cal? Is getting into Oregon tougher than getting in to Cal? @Sportsrighter I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps this is evidence of his critical thinking ability. @Sportsrighter UC Berkeley has an "admitted by exception" policy; applies to about 100 frosh each year, and generally more than half are athletes. @OldMacManiac @Sportsrighter All schools have this. Oregon uses the minimum NCAA standard for admissions... though some of the difference might lay in the types of credits. Oregon is known for basically not allowing ANY internet classes on a transcript... there may be an issue there which other schools would allow. -
(2015) SG Kenny Williams to UNC
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Agreed. We have one five star, one four star, and one three star for 2014. I expect 2015 to bring at least a couple of four star talents. -
Didn't mean to imply otherwise. What I am trying to say is...more than ever, CTC is trying to avoid kids that will end up being a royal pain in the arse. Lots of offers are fine, but none of them are going to kids with high rankings but also with pain in the arse potential.

(2015) SG Kenny Williams to UNC
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
My point (inarticulately made) is that we have no idea who we will currently get for 2015, and how we will stand when it's all said and done. I'm guessing that if we get off to a reasonably strong start this year, we will do quite well. OSU currently has 4 top 100 recruits, all of whom are between #35 and 80. Who is to say, given the list of players we are pursuing, that we can't get into the same general range with the three 2015's we take? I'm not looking at this issue as a zero-sum, "who will win the star rating contest" analysis. I see it more as "will we get enough talent each year to be a B1G title/tourney contender". -

OSU hit a big home run for 2014. 2015 and 2016 are yet to be determined! -

Cheer up, Bow - you may be missing the common thread among all of these offers. We have been the top recruiting program in the B1G over the past three or four years. I need to start a thread on this topic -
Dang. If I'd only known it was that easy I woulda tried a lot harder to beat Sco to that link!

(2016) PF T.J. Leaf to UCLA

That would be great; I think we're in for some pleasant surprises this fall, which will open up a lot of doors for 2015/16. -

I'm usually the glass is half-full (or more) guy, but I think that with an IU connection in Alford, a blue blood program, and the proximity to his family, UCLA is the one to beat here. Hope I'm wrong! -
Recruiting boards and the May, 2014 Dallas Morning News article listed MSB at 6'9", 200 lbs. Not anymore: Tim Priller @Vanilla_Prilla I weigh 225
