If ya can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. If ya don't want to see Grayson Allen tripping opponents, keep the Duke love off of the IU board.

Not bad for 40-something, eh? That there's some true sunshine. -
Absolutely true. And last night he did not. That having been said, 100% success at one's job is unrealistic. Winners learn from their bad days, use adversity to motivate, and fix problems. This team's ceiling is through the roof. I believe we will have many more successes than bad days this year.

Tijan dunked it. That's all you need to know. -
And I'm supposed to be a sunshine pumper!?! I'm just a happy guy, who knows when the Hoosiers are about to be up against it. lol

It means that even though we just underwent a root canal, we can still be enjoying a steak dinner again soon! ;)

James Blackmon Jr., with OG on the wing.

Adversity is healthy. It brings out two very different, distinct conclusions.

I feel like he's too bright a kid to not improve dramatically. We may need a little patience, but the bust players tend to be athletic and a bit uninspired from the neck up. Justin is very squared away and very athletic, just a little raw.

Prediction League (Game 4 - Fort Wayne 11/22/16)
Stuhoo replied to Str8Hoosiers's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Waaay too much optimism; this is a good team, at home, playing with something to prove. It'll be close. IU: 78, IUPFW: 71 -
I get a Juwan Morgan absolutely mature, super high-end person vibe from him.

Pass on Tilmon.

I'm not worried about any other team in that poll. And I'm happy for IU.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer Even with the flurry of commitments in the last two weeks, there are still 10 uncommitted five-star prospects left in 2017. Seven more between No. 26 and No. 100.

(2017) SG Hamidou Diallo to Kentucky
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Diallo has played his AAU ball for the NY Rens, which means there's a guy who is currently pretty high on IUBB who has been his point guard: Devonte Green. -
(2017) SG Curtis Haywood II to Georgia Tech
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Also under the radar a bit more because because after having a good AAU season post-sophomore year (see article below) he did not play AAU ball last summer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name to Know: 6'5" Unsigned Sr Curtis Haywood of Mustang High School (OK) 01/03/2016, 8:15am EST By Jamie Shaw Name to Know 6’5” Unsigned Senior Curtis Haywood of Mustang (OK) By Jamie Shaw Curtis Haywood entered the Beach Ball Classic as a little known player, however he left as a kid that is sure to get mid and high major schools calling. It doesn’t make sense why Mustang High School (OK) wing Curtis Haywood came in with little college fanfare. He played this summer on Nike’s EYBL circuit with an Athlete’s First team that finished the summer 12-5. On that team, Haywood finished third in points (12.7) and third in rebounds (5.8). He also shot 33% from beyond the arc and averaged 2.1 assists per game. However, throughout the process Haywood only really Western Kentucky has offered. His recruitment there has been fluid to say the least. Western Kentucky offered Haywood during the EYBL and then dropped his offer after Haywood did not sign early. However, Western Kentucky has since picked back up their recruitment and re-offered Haywood. Haywood and his Mustang High School coach state that Texas is still evaluating him with a chance to offer coming soon. It is our opinion that after Haywood’s performance at the Beach Ball Classic, he is very close to having a lot more options than what is currently on the table. Haywood passes the look test, walking on to the court. He stands a legit 6’5” with a 6’11” wing span. When he plays you quickly notice his court IQ. He reads passing lanes very well on defense and he passes the ball extremely well from the wing. Haywood has a smooth quick stroke with deep range and gets out and runs well in transition. It would not surprise us to see Power 5 schools get in the mix here, he is one of the better seniors left on the board -

#5 Indiana v. #243 Liberty... Mutual? Post-game thread
Stuhoo replied to MartintheMopMan's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Liberty lost by 5 at VCU. They aren't a high-level team, but they aren't all that bad. We. Are. Really. Good.
