I don't know who it is... But if I was in Vegas and was offered a large sum of money to put on any one candidate, it'd be Alford.

For me? If not a dream hire like Donovan, I want youth, like Archie, Collins or Fife. I know I'm in the minority on Fife, but I'd prefer him over a proven non-superstar coach. At least with him I get the hope that we've located someone special.

Steeler presented the information as sourced, but qualified it and did so with complete clarity. As a mod, when he did so I posted and repeated his disclaimer, not because he wasn't clear, but to highlight the appreciation for bringing the information, and to get out in front of and double-prevent anyone's undies getting in a knot if nothing concrete followed. It seems that pretty much the entirety of the board was highly appreciative. If anyone didn't fully grasp that, they have a real reading comprehension problem.
