My point is that by the END of the year Michigan is far better. McDaniel was supposed to be a ten minute player and was thrust into 35 per game. Since the game has started to slow down for him and Tarris Reed they have been a much better team.

I’m betting on Old Fart. Sleeping in that bathtub gives him a notable bathroom break advantage.

For me, given the stakes and the quality of opponent, last night's win was a better win where IU played more connected, energetic basketball than in three of the five games you listed. For B1G teams, Minny, OSU, and Wisconsin are markedly worse than Michigan. I understand that the Wisky and OSU final scores weren't close. Especially now that Tarris Reed and Dug McDaniel have gotten extended minutes and are playing like sophomores for Michigan. We didn't really get all that many shots to fall, yet we beat a very talented and desperate team last night. The Wisky and OSU games were tight at the half against teams that have been vastly inferior to the current UM team.

Okay… I’ll bite. When was our “real run“?

Not the same team as earlier in the year last night?!? 1) I thought we played with excellent energy. Not for 40 minutes (clearly) but in a real way, and especially when the minutes piled up. 2) Eight turnovers in 45 minutes is most certainly not sloppy. Especially against an athletic, desperate Michigan team that has been playing really well. 3) Bates was pretty damn good defensively last night. For some reason he lost confidence in his offense, but the extended minutes last night were good for that too. He looked like a shooter by game's end. Reneau was good too. The guy has sticky rebounding hands. 4) yes - true

Maryland as a road team, with Kevin Willard coaching? Sign. Me. Up.

Without listening to it or reading about it's content, that album title reeks of a pinnacle of product manipulation.

Lynard Skynard? IMO was creatively extinguished in 1977 when the plane went down, yet has kept on as a shark-jumping cover band for another 40+ years. Kinda like the Beach Boys post-'Brian Wilson mental health meltdown early 1970's effort crap. A couple of fine, fine albums followed by every imaginable repackaging and manipulative demagoguery imaginable in an effort to sell product.

We are healthier than expected going into the dance and conference tournament. Absent X, our top seven is ready to roll. 21-10, second/third in conference, swept Purdue, about a four seed (that’s top 16 y’all), ranked almost all year. After a long, vast wasteland of sadness. Anyone that has analysis of what we can be better at? I’m with you. But anyone that complains about the direction of the team, and doubts when we’re behind or give up an in-game run? Get in touch with reality, because our reality is a whole lot of fun.
