I’ve seen him play on a televised game once, and I don’t think his game is anything like Race Thompson. The first guy that came to my mind was Jordan Murphy from Minnesota or maybe Fat Rutger Ron. Not saying he’d be that successful in the B1G, but that’s the skill set comp.

I don't if we have a snowball's chance with Chris Ledlum, but for me two years of him would be a better formula for winning than any four/five star freshman we could bring in: 6'6" with long arms and physical. He's a full sized three. Perfect to pair with Banks or JG at the four and still have enough size. Can guard three positions. Former top 100 recruit Can create his own shot (that's a huge need for next year) Not just a Harvard kid - third team Academic All-American. In other words, a seriously mature, smart, leader. Two years of that kid? No wonder he's in very high demand.

Very much agree. Marcus Carr, Timmy Allen et al aren't going to be around forever and he's going to have develop his own culture after this year.

Two years left. A true post. In his P5 games this year went for 30 and 9 at U Miami and 18, 18 and 7 at Butler, and 10 at Ohio State.

Not basing this on any info I’ve gotten. Basing this on IU fan base getting really excited about a player that is geographically close enough to attend games when there’s another that may be just as intriguing.

Been really quiet with him lately, but Somto would be the absolute perfect complement to Malik. And he’s a legit reclass candidate. And he isn’t beholden to Drew Adams. And his coach isn’t a pure Matt Painter fan. So I’m hoping this incredibly high ceiling kid pops up again soon.

I think it is safe to say that we are aiming high lol. We may have to rename or sell campus buildings and highways leading into Bloomington to get enough NIL for that list.
