All four of those are, to varying degrees, promotions. Of conference, of resources, and/or of the basketball focus of the schools..

Clayton defended it so exactly right. He went at the shot kinda like a guy trying to block a football punt; covered the ball while flying past, not at the guy with the ball. Normally a defender closes-out up to, not past the shooter's stance, but in this case Clayton was apparently so aware of the time remaining that he closed out with a fly by, making it impossible for Sharpe to get a shot off and no chance of body contact.

He really got buried on the bench. Didn't get ten minutes of run in a game in February or March.

EJ is pretty damn talented, and he now has an opportunity. Seeing will be believing, but there's some serious potential there.

Thinking that though he's only 6'1", he's not showing stats as a point guard. 1.2 assists in 33.7 minutes per game last season.

I’m rooting for Florida in a major way. But every one of those calls against UF have been good calls. Golden hasn’t adjusted at all and so Houston’s defense continues to suffocate them.

Clayton hasn’t scored. Clayton always gets going in the second half. Always. If this is the game he doesn’t? Yeah, then Houston wins. But I’ll believe it when I see it.

That was one fugly half of basketball.

If we can get IU to only play in three on three leagues against young Eastern European 5'7" girls she'll be fantastic. As a freshman she shot 31% fg, 26% 3pt, 52% ft, with more turnovers than assists. So while she may be talented, but there's significant work for her to do to be a winning player.

Devonte Green years were also Archie Miller years. If we don't have a coach that can effectively use players in their system it's all futile. Reasonably optimistic that we will have our 'alpha' players and after that the system will then be critical.

Gets to gym before practice, after practice, and at night. Seems like a pretty likeable young guy.
