    Stanford Robinson's Role

Too talented to disappear. Stan's college bball career is a four year marathon, not a sprint.

    Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

Russell has a lot to learn on the defensive end, and with sharing the ball effectively.

What rating did you give Middle School Bob, or does the scale only go to 100?

    Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

IMO, DSR as a junior is WAAAAAAY better than DeAngelo Russell as a freshman.
  5.   Should this ever happen...I have a team training video!   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bHP-wFBO6k
  6.   This WOULD look good on Coach Crean!

    Bears talking to Kevin Wilson

Offendeth though thou mayest be, thy Hoosier pride taketh precedence over thy ego, for thou may not: For when thy Hoosiers turneth over the orb of leather,  Nor lose possession of that fair lead in the second half thou owest; When in eternal lines to time thou growest: So long as men can breathe or eyes can see the potential of Emmitt Holt, The argument all Brad Stevens bare is of more worth Than when it hath my added praise of Coach Tom Crean beside! And to be praised of ages of future recruits yet to be. Then do thy office, Fred Glass; I teach thee how To make him seem, long hence, as he shows now For when my time on earth is gone, and my activities here are passed, I want they bury me upside down, and my critics can kiss my ass!   (A little Hoosier Shakespeare for y'all)

  13.   Good question.   I read most of what's posted on a few boards, and I have not seen anyone, insider or otherwise, definitively state that anyone from IU has ever reached out to Stevens, either directly or indirectly. The closest I think I've seen is milehiiu on the 247 board, who inferred a month or so ago (and I paraphrase) that he is pretty sure that Stevens has an idea that IU would be interested.   If anyone has a stronger opinion than that...my pm box is open! :)

Well then.  ^^ There is that ^^

I am NOT saying that CTC is the permanent answer, nor am I saying that our "ceiling" wouldn't be higher with another coach. However, I am a bit taken aback by the repeated proclamations that we have a "ceiling" of the sweet sixteen with CTC. For instance , if we get to the sweet sixteen this year (yes, it is absolutely possible), and we play a team that's ranked between 10 and 20, say, Miami or Oklahoma, are any of you saying that we have an absolute 0% chance of winning that game? Don't think so.

    Hartman

JBJ's defense is definitely improving, as is Max's.   Thanks goodness!

Strongly disagree. Yogi has been our best player, as we expected. JBJ has been excellent, albeit inconsistent and no marvel on defense, as we expected. However, when Devin went down, we had next to nothing left 6'7" or more on the roster after Troy and Hanner. 20 great minutes a game from Collinn and ten good minutes a game from Emmitt saved this year from being a very sad one so far.

Because without Colinn and Emmitt it would already be lost.

    IU for Christmas

IU socks for me.    IU beanbag and pennant for the eight year old.   A win over Gtown and at least 10 B1G wins would make a lovely gift too!

Who woulda thunk that our season would be saved by Collinn Hartman and a freshman big that we found in August.

    Hartman

UMMM...Excuse me: Collinn Hartman apparently currently has the fifth best offense efficiency rating OF ALL PLAYERS IN D1!   See link for a nice read from Mike Miller at the HT:   http://scoop.hoosiershq.com/2014/12/crean-holds-hartman-as-an-inspiration-for-the-team-iubb/#/2

    IU for Christmas

Two IU players, Stan Robinson and Emmitt Holt, had Christmas at the Crean home.   An excellent idea for two players who have very much needed the support of their coach. Hopefully on their way to becoming IU graduates and four year players that Hoosier Nation can be proud of:   http://instagram.com/p/xCuyrZvMGX/
