I'll set the standards: Expected to start and thrive: Yogi, Will, Noah Steadying influences: Evan, Austin Upside + frustration at times: Jeremy Skilled and developing but not strong enough: Luke and Peter Energizer bunnies with developing skill: Troy, Hanner, Stan and Devin Not much run: Colin I'll give it a try first: Overachievers: Austin. Hits shots, plays smart, sees the floor more than we ever thought, especially during crunch time. Hanner: Luke's injury forces him to be on the court a lot during cupcake time. He gets confidence and stays wholly in the mix. Below Expectations: Stan: Game is too fast for him. Loses minutes to Evan. Peter: Hoosier Hysteria performance is a mirage. What say y'all?

Me and Nipples (and Angler?) have the Florida angle covered: Gainesville is land locked; the closest beaches are over 90 minutes away. The weather is completely stellar, except from June through September, which has little effect on the primary campus year. The coeds are as hot as the summer weather, but no better nor worse than who an IU Bball player will consort with. The campus is beautiful. UF's advantages: Weather, playing time. IU's advantages: Fanbase, basketball culture, tradition, Rob Johnson Tie: Women, campus, academics, facilities, conference (yes, I know that B1G is better, but both are majors) Personal preference: Coaching staff, teammates

The heat just broke this week. It is absolutely beautiful down here. Thanks goodness there isn't a home UF football game,and thank goodness no one in Gainesville gives a flying rat's behind about college basketball.

Every situation is different...every recruit is different. But, just because the worst snowstorm of a given year occurs in April, that doesn't make April the new snowiest month. This doesn't guarantee anything, but given all of the unsubstantiated tea leaf reading we all do, this can only be looked at as truly substantive good news.

Just read a NC high school board on young Mr. Graham. His strengths? Work ethic and leadership. A pass first floor leader with defensive tenacity that has been showing dramatic improvement. Sounds like a CTC recruit to me.

I'm not sensing that Carlton Bragg has any serious interest in IU. Hopefully Derrickson has a chance to be our guy.
