There has been a pretty good reception for the idea of adding Max, but let me make my thoughts perfectly clear: There are some players that look good on paper or on recruiting star tallies, and there are some players who help a team win..in many, many ways. With the team we have coming back, Max Bielfeldt would be a far greater asset for the Hoosiers than HMP. In the locker room, in practice, in the development of Thomas Bryant, and defensively during games. Max Bielfeldt is the kind of role player that will, without question, put us closer to a potential championship run.

I would very much prefer Max Bielfeldt.

That would be a GREAT pickup. Like having a Nick Zeisloft quality backup big. Understands how to play against high level competition for 5-10 minutes per game. Yes, please!

Caleb Swanigan is NOT going to consider IU. Period.

  Disagree.   Painter is a grind-it-out coach. Swanigan has a half-court centered skill set.

  Yup:   Hammons, Haas, Swanigan, Edwards for the 4/5 spots Davis, Mathias, Smotherman for the 3 spot.   Nothing for quickness or ball handling.   Imbalanced roster, but stacked to the max with bigs.

UK cannot acquire MSB. UK frequently carries five thugs at once on their roster, and having MSB regularly take them on would be fatal to team morale.
