Now that thons off the board for this season
Stuhoo replied to drewheck's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
There's a big difference between: Finding out that a player who's already on the team has an issue, and trying to help him, and Asking a player with a proven drug history to join the team. -

Tweets @D1Circuit: Southern Stampede G Aljami Durham (@aldurham01) is on a visit to Indiana. #BigTen #Hoosiers @Southstampede ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Durham Steady At Elite 100 By Hoopnallovadaworld on Jun 19, 15 Last week in St. Louis at the Nike Elite 100 Camp, Courtcred got a chance to witness a ton of promising 2017 players. Many of those players will be finding their way onto multiple Top 100 ranking lists, and those that don't will still have a handful of Division I suitors on their trail. In a camp setting sometimes its tough to peg what a player can really do when everyone is hogging the ball, hoisting up bad shots, and trying their best to prove the naysayers wrong as to what they can't do. 6'4 Aljami Durham's game can be described as the opposite of what was stated in the previous line. Durham, a combo guard out of Berkmar High School in Georgia put in a really steady, some would even say surprising week of camp. To those who have watched him closely this year his play isn't surprising at all. Durham lead Berkmar High in scoring this season at around 17 points per game. His scoring then translated to a much more competitive field as he averaged around 13 points per throughout this years Nike EYBL league playing for the Southern Stampede. During last weeks camp, Durham seemed to get better and more comfortable as camp went on. The lefty hurt opposing defenses that left him open on the perimeter. As each shot went in you could sense the rising juniors confidence building up. When he slid over to the point position he was able to make the right plays off the bounce, and do simple things like feed the post correctly or perform the right defensive rotations. I think a big component of his game that is over looked is Durham's toughness. Originally from New York Durham might not have that tough look, but you will definitely not bully him. As of this Monday college coaches began putting calls in to recruits and Durham's phone continues to buzz. Durham's been contacted by Indiana, Miami, Memphis, UGA, USF, and Va. Tech. The July recruiting period is on the way, Courtcred will surely be monitoring Durham's progress.

A one hour video interview. She covers EVERYTHING! Her take on "the decison" is hilarious, and this particular one of our favorite posters is a fan, a parent, and a person that we can all get behind in a big, big way. Easy to see why Yogi will be a success in life. Great job by the interviewers, great insight, great context for the upcoming season. Sayeth Doc: "The worst place to visit...every year...is Purdue. It is just HORRIBLE!" Alright, she's mainly speaking about the seating arrangements, but still. Enjoy: http://assemblycall.com/shows/doclibby-on-life-as-yogis-mom/?utm_content=bufferdbb9b&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

1) Agreed. but 2) Don't agree that everyone thinks Rojo should start. Personally, I think it's a three man sweepstakes for the fifth starting spot between Collinn, Emmitt, and Rojo, with the best defender getting the nod. Never thought that Emmitt might start, but now that we have Max to back up as a true big, Emmitt can start with backup 5 spot minutes till filled by a competent player. Besides, I'm more concerned with who finishes games, not who starts them.

We are not going to have a five man team. We will have a four man team (Yogi, Troy, TB, and JBj) + a four man team (Rojo, Nick, Emmitt, and Collinn).

24 scholarships offered and where the crystal ball has them going.

We need a pg, maybe two in this class. Brown, CuJones, or Carr need to be part of the equation. -
Yes, please.

Yes: It's 18"w X 24"D X 19" H if assembled correctly, which I can never seem to do. By the way, "Godmorgan" is gonna be a helluva player for the Hoosiers by the time he's a junior, unless, of course, he's a bedspread.

(2015) PG Jamal Murray to UK
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Is it "ok to have...one and dones" now and then? I suppose so. However, I BY FAR prefer a group of players that have: Intentions of completing a college degree, A real connection to the university, A real, extended connection to their teammates, and A life among the student population - not in some 'chef-catered players lodge' Damn straight that's what I prefer. That's what makes my IU degree and the IU degrees of Oladipo, Hulls, Ferrell, Woodson, Smart, etc, etc, etc, etc the product of a common rooting interest and collegiate connection. That's what makes a UK fan and Teague, Lyles, Bledsoe, etc, etc, etc, etc in a position of passing sports vagabonds and cash-centric mercenaries. -

I'm sure we reached out to gauge interest... But, Jamal Murray wants to play one year of college ball, be a focal point of the offense at PG (preferably) or the SG, and then go to the NBA as fast as he possibly can. Not a good fit at IU (w/Yogi, JBJ, and RoJo), and not a good fit for IU (in my opinion - no real interest in university life). -

Last season for AE: 12 minutes per game, 26% from 3pt, 38% from the floor, more turnovers than assists. Nice guy and good teammate? Sure. A positive contributor on the court? Not quite, and no better with Butler than he was with us. -

Nice kid - humble and happy Says his biggest strength is passing Cited IU first in his long list of suitors Named IU as one of three recruiting him hardest An offer from IU was "an eye opener" Getting the Troy Williams comparisons from CTC Good stuff! -
As long as Troy Williams and Yogi Ferrell aren't anywhere to be found, these mocks are all good.

As long as you don't have Wesley Snipes' tax planner and Coverdale's dietician, that should work well. -

On the court I am a cross between Tim Priller, Pistol Pete Maravich, Jaybob, and Krusty the Clown. Oh wait...for real? Long arms, a little undersized as a rec league forward at 6'0". mediocre shooting form, good help defender, pick setter, and floor runner. I'd say a shorter Jarred Odle. -
To guarantee a conviction, because ya never know what jurors might do. To avoid the testimony of an informant who will have his credibility tested. To avoid cross examination of the police's practices. They will get their credibility tested too. To gain Allen's cooperation against Allen's supplier and co-conspirators. To save State Attorney Office and law enforcement time, resources, and money that can now be used toward other cases.
