Stuhoo replied to FindEndNow's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Pssst: I heard me a little rumour that Bill Belichek wants to come work for Kevin Wilson as IU's defensive coordinator! -

(2016/17) PG Markus Howard to Marquette
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Maybe Jeff Howard is secretly a 40 year old IU alum RB named "Chuck"?!? My head is starting to hurt from the sheer weight of the potential conspiracy theory -

(2017) C Jeremiah Tilmon to Illinois
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Geez...I think I found a nugget of info. I check the first few pages of the recruiting board, and I post... Only to find that ccg and Pap had the interest locked in about a year and a half ago! Should've known. -

Per Rabjohns this 5* center would like to make a visit to IU. From East St. Louis; pretty close for his family. Nice! -

Garrett Green would have been an excellent addition. Hope it's Garrett Green with a different recruiting outcome! -
We had three guys sharing ball handling duties: Verdell, Jordy, and VO.

(2015) PG Jamal Murray to UK
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Not saying...but Just Sayin'! @jeffborzello: Jamal Murray's father told ESPN the Kentucky visit went well. Mentioned Oregon, Michigan, Michigan St, Indiana, UConn as schools in the mix -
And soooooo..... If Thon Maker will be a Hoosier, both Thon and IU agree that it will be for a MINIMUM of a year and a half.

ARDSLEY, N.Y. — Indiana and Arizona State talk the most with Thon Maker’s guardian and say they have a one-and-a-half-year plan for the 7-footer if he were to arrive on campus in December. Kentucky is also in touch with Ed Smith, who said he hasn’t heard from Kansas “for a while.” As of now, the plan is for Maker to complete his schoolwork in the fall and then head to college at the semester break between the 2015-16 season. He is currently projected as the No. 28 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by DraftExpress.com, but Smith said Maker could possibly wait until 2017 for the NBA. “I don’t want to put a one-and-done on it. You finish high school, step one,” Smith said. “When you’re ready and your body is ready for the pro game, step two.” He added: “There is no one-and-a-half year plan in place. It is when he is ready. If it takes 3 1/2 years then so be it. The feel is that if he went mid-year he would be more effective in Year 2 because he would have had the summer and the fall to get better.” Indiana hosted Maker and Thomas Bryant for a game this season, and has already landed Bryant for next season. “I deal mostly with [assistant coach] Chuck [Martin of Indiana] and Chuck says mid-year or next year [fall 2016] is all good and they have a plan in place for for [Maker],” Smith told SNY.tv at the Under Armour stop here. “So that’s his basic plan with that. If he came in mid-year, they would ease him into it, knowing that he has a year-and-a-half plan. “We all know basketball. It’s hard to come in and miss the summer, miss the fall and come in mid-year. That’s ridiculous to try to come in and make a jump like that. If we go full year [beginning 2016-17], then he’s there for the whole year. There’s not a time clock on when he goes [to college] or when he doesn’t.

UM Graduate Transfer Max Bielfeldt To IU
Stuhoo replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Does cutting DePaul count as an actual cutting?!? -
It's 'Point-Counterpoint' time!
-
Ahem, you are confusing us with Arizona State. Let's hope it stays that way!
-
For one semester? Not so much. For one semester this year, he gets to love IU, he stays at least one additional year, and his lil brother joins him? Yes, please. In other words, the devil is in the details, which we don't know about.
-
I would never insult you personally, because that's not allowed, it's not cool, and I'm sure you're a nice person. BUT, any suggestion that an athletic player with the world's worst basketball instincts like Hanner could ever have been considered for the NBA is completely laughable, and does no favors for your credibility.

IU Men's BBall Gets Perfect APR Score Again
Stuhoo replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
UK doesn't flunk 'em out. They just NEVER graduate (unless it's some walk-on named 'Sam' or 'Ted'). Hence, their APR is lovely. -
IU Men's BBall Gets Perfect APR Score Again
Stuhoo replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
IU having a perfect APR is really good news...But, APR is NOT the best measure of a program's academic success. Ya know what is the best measuring stick of academic success? College degrees obtained. It is there that the IU Men's BBall program has achieved extraordinarily well. BTW; Try that measuring stick with some of the other "perfect APR" programs. -

UM Graduate Transfer Max Bielfeldt To IU

I'm guessing that today is the day that Max announces where he'll play this year. The timing just feels right and ready. -
Thanks, Kentucky for revealing yourself
Stuhoo replied to Dalton26's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Sooo.....today, Calipari once again revealed himself (in a major way): Calipari said the goal last season was to get eight players drafted, not win the national title. “Last year we started the season with a goal,” he told the Alltech Rebelation crowd. “You may think that goal was to win the national title and win all the games and be… It was to get eight players drafted.” Vomit-worthy truths from the coach with no regard for the 'student' part of 'student-athlete'. -
Confirmed. Swanigan to Purdue. Gonna be a very fun year!

Potential replacements for 2015-2016

Something is rotten in Lexington! Do ALL of these recruits turn down Calipari'$ offer$ without a reason? I can feel something nearing on the horizon. -
UM Graduate Transfer Max Bielfeldt To IU
Stuhoo replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
There has been a pretty good reception for the idea of adding Max, but let me make my thoughts perfectly clear: There are some players that look good on paper or on recruiting star tallies, and there are some players who help a team win..in many, many ways. With the team we have coming back, Max Bielfeldt would be a far greater asset for the Hoosiers than HMP. In the locker room, in practice, in the development of Thomas Bryant, and defensively during games. Max Bielfeldt is the kind of role player that will, without question, put us closer to a potential championship run. -
(2015) PF Jordan Murphy to Minnesota
