His nephew was born 4 months early, and if lucky will be in ICU for 2-3 months. Obviously, the chances of survival aren't guaranteed. As a father, this would scare the hell out of me. Scary stuff for sure. Plus he put a pic of his nephew with the caption, which just sucks to see anyone going through something like that.

I know its a longshot but I am liking number 3 for a few players. Jay Edwards. Tom Coverdale, DJ White, and Jerry Stuteville (part of the first IU team to finish the season ranked if that's important). Pretty much where our history starts.
-
Tell AJ he is one of most of our all time greats (don't think that would be crazy to say) but any number associated with Pat Knight can't be the best at IU. Just saying..

Yep, they rigged the voting. I seen that as well. I will laugh when they wonder where all of their site hits go to. That was stupid on their part. If they didn't want him to have a chance, they shouldn't have put him in there.

Man, this year has been terrible for injuries so far. Hopefully we get them out of our system early.

(2014) PG JaQuan Lyle to Oregon
mdn82 replied to All_Hoosiers's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I agree that he doesn't know what he wants. Can't say I did when I was his age either. I still think that Huntington Prep move was the best thing he did. His ex coach ran him down on twitter pretty bad the other day and all Jaquan did was retweet it. He ended up deleting it, but I think that kid is realizing he is all of these people's golden ticket. He needs to do whats best for him. He did that and people are pissed because it hurts them. The biggest issue I have with his coach blasting Jaquan like that is if he wouldn't do it when Jaquan was there, why do it while he is in another state? Thats an influential person? He probably does know a lot of stuff that Jaquan did (that is what he was saying he would bring up if Jaquan blasted him and that Jaquan was the weakest man on his team). That said, why not be happy for Jaquan for this move to dedicate himself? Is it because you don't have a top 20 player? -
Down by 9!!!

(2014) SF Devin Robinson to Florida

This is a huge reason to why they report the way they do. They are 100% relying on immediate subscriptions. On other sites you have built up the atmosphere. I remember seeing right after they took over someone asked him on the site why they should pay for his premium content and he said because he will always have the info first. That instantly told me anyone could tell them anything and they will run with it before verifying. They want you to pay for them, for shock value. That will bite them hardcore in the end. Its better to be right than fast. -

I love his twitter too. He says the decision will be the first week of November. Someone called him out on his stuff, and he just says wait and see who he picks and see if he was uniformed... Lol. So, basically its a coin flip. If he is right, then he can scream at the top of his lungs. If he was wrong, it will be that kids change their right. If it was his first time, I would say give him a chance. Dude just does this all of the time. -

Man, Albers jumps the gun more than most. That dude just goes with the first thing he hears just to be the first to say it. -
Ha, I think they already have.

You would think by now after things like this, the organization would realize the gold mine they stumbled upon with this kid. Not only are you getting a great player and person, you are also getting one of if not the most beloved Hoosiers of the last 20 years who is charismatic as hell. The marketing department loves this pick as much as the basketball people. You are welcome Orlando.
-
161-63... I am sure we are starting to piss off someone in Orlando lol.

Relation to Lawrence? -
Yogi, Evan, Troy, Jeremy, and Noah. Mainly because Luke will be behind on conditioning and just hasn't been able to go for a while. Unlike last year I expect there to be probably a 7 man starting rotation. I could see Luke starting. I could also see some games where Hanner could start just to move Noah off the 5. No way could we go into the Syracuse game with Noah starting the 5 against those trees. Empty slate this year. Excited to get the season going.

What Non-Conference Team Would You Like To Play?
mdn82 replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Kansas. IMO, that is the only team I have never seen us play that I would care to. Home and home with 2 of the greatest home court advantages in college basketball. The history. The great coaches. The great players. Seriously, I hope someone at some point makes that happen. -
Hi, my name is mdn and I am an addict.

November PPV will be solid. GSP just wins. His fights usually aren't the most exciting anymore, and I would probably be surprised if he won by finish anymore, but he just wins. The fights I am looking forward to on that card are Rory fight and the Cerrone fight. Those dudes bring it. Rory vs. Robbie will be a brawl.
-
Now that Cormier is dropping, the LHW just got a lot more interesting. Not sure who is open who makes sense, but its going to be someone close to the belt. Jones has Teixera next. If Gus wins his next fight he was told he is fighting for the title. Cormier would be a bad matchup for Gus. I think he is a bad matchup for Jones. Probably the hardest at 205.
-
Wow, what a night of fights. Best card of the year. IMO. Just crazy that the most boring fight may have been DC vs. Big Country. Even that wasn't horrible. Any other card outside of Jones vs. Gus this main even probably gets FOTN bonus. That Diego vs. Gil fight was an absolute WAR!!! If anyone reads this and cares to watch it, I highly, highly recommend it. It is seriously crazy on a Forest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar level with better striking. Those dudes threw haymakers for 15 minutes and both were dropped at one point.

Big Country Jaybob up next. Not looking good for him though lol. Cormier is a beast who would kill me literally with one punch.
