Charlie, this is where I think Gordon would be good to be out there.  Troy is pressing and is rattled as a Freshman.  Gordon may not be the best, but he has been through this before.  He would be good for settling down the youth.  They are talented, but they haven't struggled at this level before.  This is, imo, where he could be useful.  

  I know he has ups, but that is lofty expectations.  

Now we are hesitating which is almost worse than missing.  

Here we go.  We need to tighten up on defense though.  

I am stoked for today though.  Not too often I would say I am excited for a UK game, but it is 1 against 2.  Then Duke and Kansas...  Damn.  Wisconsin is going against Florida as well.  Great day for ball.  

Love how we go to the rim on the first 2 possessions.  Good adjustment by the staff.  Defensively...  yeah...

  Absolutely agreed.  We are as polar opposite from one year to the next on type of team as one could be.  We have to get our D going.  

The only positive of the half was him putting IU on his back when LIU went on that 14-0 run after IU jumped out.  We will be very dependent on that kid.  

  Need something going to the rim every possession.  Anybody curious why we took 3 shooters for next year after that half?  

Senior leadership, ball-handling in Yogi's absence, solid defense.  Believe it or not, he is a scorer.  Not at a level we were used to last year, but he can hit shots.  Let the game slow down for the Freshman before we play them 40.  I think his minutes will decrease in conference, but it makes sense why he is in there now.  

  Ha, as horrible as you have told us we are for the last 17 minutes of gametime, I am shocked you can't believe it Charlie.  

  Senior on this team.  Beyond that, many who aren't emotional right now would disagree with you on that.

  He was, but he got a quick foul and did nothing on offense.

I know people don't want to hear this, but I think this game will be helpful for Syracuse, UConn, and Notre Dame.  We aren't going to steam role anyone this year of significance.  If we do what we did today at Syracuse we are losing by 30.  When shots aren't falling, you have to go to the rim.  Simple as that.  They will learn they can't keep shooting.  

  Some players are better coming off the bench.  Think that is the case with Will.  

Noah is our best player.  IMO.  This game is more important for him than our team.  It has to show him how much we need him and how to take a game over at this level.  

  A Cupcake that has went to the tournament the last 3 years.  They aren't a top 50 team, but its like they are a D-2 team.  That said, we should be smoking them.  This is horrible.
