Hopefully most of you guys get to read this.  As a mod, I don't want to babysit during a game.  As much as you guys, I am a huge fan of this team.  That said, we need to cut out on the posts talking about players needing to leave or how terrible they are when they make a bad play.  If they make a bad play, say it.  Don't call them worthless.  As a site we want to grow.  To be accepted to grow we can't have someone look at our site and view some of the vitriol thrown at a few players last night.  We won't get accepted that way.  Discussion is good.  Critiquing is ok.  Degrading will not be.  Thanks for all of the help and lets have us a game!

I completely agree with this.  I understand the game is an emotional time to comment for some.  But, if you can't control your thoughts to your finger tips before typing, then you need to stop commenting during games.  We are not the thought police, but there comes a time where we are going to have to step in.  I am hopeful the game tonight will be different, but doubt it.  It will be a tougher, closer game.  The manic posts are going to have to stop.  The bashing of the players is going to have to stop.  Talk of play on the court is what we are here for.  We have a great group here, and I hope to keep it that way. 

Yeah, I am cool with talking about a kid's game.  But, some of the comments were over the top.  One said he was worthless.  People called that poster out on that, and he told them he was talking about his play on the court not to get it twisted.  We are on the internet on a platform that is easy to find.  How would you feel as a 19/20 yr old to google yourself and find people saying you are worthless?  Whether or not you meant it that way, you just need to elaborate where a kid can do better or where he is struggling and not be so manic with every play.  These are people.  No, these are kids we are talking about.  Not everything is lollypops, but please be considerate of these kids.

  Different kind of speed for sure.  I think if we can crash the boards like we did tonight, we have a chance.  That team likes to get up and down like we do.  I like our length, but our youth will go against us when up against a team like UConn on a neutral court.  That LIU-Brooklyn "pressure" game will help us in this game more than anyone will ever realize.  You know, I like how we looked and our depth.  When playing on back to back nights, depth helps.  It will be close for sure, but I honestly like us.  I see it as a coin flip game really if we can neutralize their shooting.  We can't keep up with them when they are hitting like they are capable of.  We just don't have the shooters.  If we make it an up and down "athletic" game, I like us. 

That is 100 on a Pac 10 team.  

  I do like what we did on the line, but I think the 46-24 advantage on the board is the story of the game.  13 turnovers for this pace isn't bad either.

  Only thing I am worried about is being up 19 and playing back to back games.  He is probably getting pulled soon.

Ha, I won't attempt to settle this with logic Charlie.  Its a long year.  Pace yourself man.  I am glad we haven't played anyone with any size.  Although this is the first team I can recall playing 4 Guard lineups against us for the majority of the game.  Pretty sure we have seen this size.  Maybe not faster, but as big.  

Most 6'9" players do?

  One of these times I will learn.  News rules = more scoring...
