I love this card. This card is usually right there with their Super Bowl weekend card. Drinking to this card.

Agreed. With his past it is not a lock that he was staying 4 years anyway. He was trying to improve his stock. People thought it was nuts when he didn't come out last year, because that would keep him 3 years. He would have been a lottery pick last year. Hard to get back to that.
-
No, a degree from UM is really good. That rookie contract will probably be more than IF he gets a 4 year degree at UM though. He could have came back to UM on that contract. Easy in hindsight, but it sucks for the kid. He had really turned his life around from Indiana High School to Prep School to UM.

Should have took that money.

Continue to improve on being a good husband, father, friend, etc…

I don't care if he was part of the swim team with a mom as hot as that. But, since he plays football and is damn good. Yep, it almost feels like double dipping here.

Merry Christmas all! Enjoy these wonderful games in the NBA today. I mean, who doesn't want to watch the Knicks lose by 30?

Panty wearing man with a mullet… That should answer that question Charlie. That is probably what took Macaulay Culkin from look of pure shock to meth in 10 years.
-
Congrats on the panties Jayboob. Mullet and a thong… Rock it brother.

I don't understand Crean on some players. Like Luke, he will talk him down like he is playing like crap, then talk Troy up. Don't like singling players out, but Crean does this a lot. Don't get that. Don't know if he is looking for specific things he has practiced on and ignores all other things. Luke was at times the best player on the court and Crean acts like he played ok. Troy dunks once and struggles a bit, and Crean couldn't be happier. Some things I don't get I guess.
-
Love Luke's game. He is so versatile and smart as a Freshman. I don't know what Crean could see that wouldn't have him wanting both Noah and Luke on the court at the same time a bunch with Hanner coming off of the bench.

The holiday feasting is finally over folks. Another game that was never in doubt is behind us. It will be our last gimme of the season. Now comes conference, where we will either rise to the occasion, or fold under the pressure of the conference. That is a discussion for another day. Hopefully we will have something up for you guys shortly where we can rank and then discuss the B1G in more detail. More to come on that. As a team we did what we have done all pre-conference. We turned the ball over at an alarming clip. We at times played smothering defense. Offensively we had trouble getting into a rhythm in the half court. We out-rebounded, and out-hustled a lesser opponent to get an easy W. I could have used that same explanation in 10 games so far this year, and it would have made sense. Numbers don't mean as much in a game like this. You really want to get a feel for how players are progressing. Luke and Will really have it going heading into conference. Evan has played better in the last 5 games than the first 5. Yogi has been more efficient shooting the ball, but needs to tighten up the turnovers. Noah is a double-double beast, who must find a way to stay out of foul trouble. Troy is an athletic freak who must use his key asset to play shut down defense and get to the rim. Jeremy has spurts, but gets lost too easily. Stan and Devin could easily see more minutes, but find themselves stuck on the bench in key situations. Individually, there were really 3 key performances in this game. Yogi was very efficient shooting the ball. He really is making better decisions there. However, his turnovers lower stress situations still negate some of that offensive efficiency. The easiest example is a 3 on 1, and he goes behind the back? At some point Yogi will need to realize the flashy play is just making a play. It may be boring. It probably won't end up on Sportcenter. But, at the end of the year, people look at stats. That is what is remembered. Not a behind the back pass against Kennesaw St. Will has been very aggressive lately and it has helped this team immensely. Going into conference we need this Will if we have a chance at going to the tournament. Mostly, I was really happy with Luke today. That kid's numbers weren't loud, but his play was just solid. We flashed as well if not better than Zeller did at times last year in the paint. He made some solid blocks. He takes what the defense gives him, whether that is a 12 foot jumper or a drive to the lane. Really think this kid has the chance to be a special 4 year player. All in all, the cupcakes are done. We will find out where we stand early on like every other year. These kids have hit their wall, and it has shown lately. Hopefully a few days off will recharge the battery, and give them the energy to be a solid team for conference. Offensively we are what we are. We can't shoot, and we have trouble moving the ball. We need to find ways to limit turnovers. We can't shoot good enough like last year's team to overcome silly turnovers. Beyond that, everyone enjoy the holidays! Be safe, and enjoy all of the new Hoosier gear for Christmas!

Well, we tied IPFW in giving up 66 in a win. Only Cincy (67) gave up more in a win. We had that stretch in the second half where they scored at will. In the B1G, that will get us beat.
-
Yeah, I mean for a Freshman he is consistent in production and doesn't make mistakes. His points aren't always there, but he is consistent when he sets his screens and plays defense. If they run some sets through him, I think he could score around 7 or 8 per game in conference. Dude is solid and consistent.
-
Only hope I have is for 89. Don't think that happens either, but yeah.
-
Luke is really making some strides. Really love seeing Crean run some plays through him.
-
That was weird.
-
That is what I get for going with the stats. I picked 57 for Kennesaw St. They really haven't scored much all year.
-
I don't think he is taking minutes from Hanner. Hanner isn't playing anything other than the 4 or 5. Stan and Evan? Maybe some. They should play over him. Evan isn't having much of a better game. For whatever reason Stan just can't get off of the bench. Crean has his reasons I am sure. He gets the whole picture from practices. That is the only reason that makes any sense.

Here is where some Seniors who just put the game on their shoulders would come in handy.
-
Yes it was.
-
Do you guys see us running a 2-3 with Evan and Yogi on the court together a lot? I could see it. I hope we have Noah and Luke together a lot in that situation.
-
I didn't. I ran away from the contact, because I thought monsters were chasing me.
-
Some girls like it that way Reb. I can think of 500 in a PM you sent us.

Hey, I have played some of my best basketball tripping on acid.
