Those cases of course in your mind equal a 17 year old who won’t be on campus during the summer. That same 17 year old that currently doesn’t have the body to come close to 30 mpg. 30 mpg for any freshman is ludicrous and won’t happen in the majority of all cases. Then we have a Junior returning PG. Two year starter. At the 2, we have a 3 year starter. Yes. Just know you may be in for some level of disappointment when you watch a 165 lb high school senior play against 22 year olds that have been in weight training for years. 30 minutes huh? Soooo.... Green had better individual games but Al was better over the whole of the season. Green was better with the ball. That’s pretty much what you are telling me with your stats which we have all said. You cherry picked games Al frustrated you. You can do the same with every player. Devonte Green put us in the best position to win on a game by game position? Disagree. He only did that when he was on which was 1/10 games if that. Devonte Green helps beat FSU. Al Durham helped win against 90% of the other teams Devonte couldn’t. That means more than a higher upside when you aren’t good enough to reach it on a regular basis. How do you know what impact they can make that Al can’t? Was Al involved with a high school pickup league I am not aware of? Also, what is exactly Al’s ceiling and how did you of all people come to that conclusion? I have seen you say these things many times and not offer anything to back them up. I really think there are two differences from the NCAA to the NBA. First, the NBA kept playing with a full crowd up until a player contracted the virus. Once a player contracts it, it is over because you have to quarantine every player they came into contact with over the last couple of weeks. I think the second thing done differently is limiting the availability of the players to the media. If they can keep them mostly off planes (or provide private planes), and manage the other things they might’ve able to. Is the risk worth it? I am personally not sure.
