Notre Dame itself is at 1% on the 7 day positivity rate. Which if the county is at 3.1% that’s not too bad. It’s not spreading into the public. Most of Notre Dames tests are from people most likely being around someone in contact. The state of Indiana imo has done a really good job.

Hospitalization has always meant to the FDA and hospitals that you are admitted and provided care. I don’t know the context of the numbers or anything like that. But if the definition were to be anything other than that I personally wouldn’t trust them. Not saying that is the case here at all. Just hospitalization is usually a relatively easy bar to achieve.

Completely agree. Glad we are having these discussions over two months before the season starts as opposed to within weeks of starting like football. The infrastructure is already in place in Orlando. Just makes the most sense really.

That’s going to be back to back solid classes for them. Wouldn’t mind watching them become a west coast power again.

(2021) SF - Aminu Mohammed to Georgetown

This is a good kid. But this is the type of kid you will go through a guardian. International kid. Let’s put it this way. This is mostly how the Hanner Perea recruitment went and he was mainly a 4* across the board. It’s not abnormal to deal with a handler but you know what you are getting into.

Wow glad we are in a good spot with some elite talent prior. I wonder what this will do to the 2022 class if anything? Probably going to be a lot of late commits.

It’s crazy to me that any decision is based on a sample size that small both good and bad. In my naivety I am hopeful that the B1G isn’t that stupid to take a random sampling of 26 athletes. I guarantee if everyone had the luxury of the level of testing they had coming off of most any virus this would occur. It’s your body’s response to fighting off a virus. It isn’t a coronavirus thing. Why would we not compare all data across the board? Work together with the various conferences to gather more complete data? This a complete **** show.
  14. Highly doubtful based on everything else out there. But if he were? We are in store for a big year. I would be cool with that, because I think he really is expecting to be gone after this year regardless.
  15. Can’t say I disagree. I haven’t heard of too many people in and around Bloomington crying over this.

It’s Covid man. The fact you are getting 90%+ of the people that agree there should be a season should say something. But yeah, I didn’t argue against anything you said so I got nothing.

Difference of opinion man. That’s all. I think everyone knows where I sit. But in this environment? Yeah you will never find a consensus. Hell Kentucky can’t agree on if they are racist or not. I highly doubt we are all going to agree on the best outcome of a public pandemic when it relates to fall sports.

There is an article on ESPN that will not be good on this board. But one aspect I thought interesting out of the interview with Rutger’s chancellor is where some of the thinking in all of this is being derived from. Here is a part of that article: ”Big Ten presidents and chancellors voted Aug. 11 to postpone the fall sports season, including football, because of concerns around the coronavirus pandemic. Holloway was among the 11 presidents and chancellors who elected to postpone, and told NJ Advance Media that his position won't change until the COVID-19 situation improves, including in Big Ten states such as Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska.” I won’t even pretend to know what those state’s numbers are, but that’s the first I heard of what is keeping this from happening.
