We harvested our first cucumber and a single strawberry today. We have 15-20 tomatoes of various sizes that will soon be ready. We have a thumbnail size watermelon and a freaking pumpkin patch (but no gourds) to be seen yet. Sent from my XT1575 using BtownBanners mobile app

I'm ready for 2016 IU Football

All Century Team (2000 on) according to ESPN: OFFENSE QB Nate Sudfeld: He just completed his Hoosiers career and finished as the school's all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns, with the second-best completion percentage ever in the program. Tevin Coleman's 2014 season at Indiana garnered a couple of first-place Heisman votes. AP Photo/John Sommers II RB Tevin Coleman: Who can forget his 2,000-yard season in 2014? He even got two first-place Heisman Trophy votes. WR James Hardy: He holds most of Indiana's all-time receiving records and was such a good athlete that he also played basketball for two seasons. WR Cody Latimer: A big, fast, physical receiver, Latimer recorded more than 2,000 career receiving yards before becoming a second-round NFL draft pick. WR Courtney Roby: Hardy broke most of the records Roby established a few years earlier. TE Ted Bolser: He caught 15 touchdown passes in 47 career games as a true receiving weapon at tight end. OL Jason Spriggs: A first-team All-American last year and a second-round draft pick by the Green Bay Packers, Spriggs is one of the top linemen in Indiana history. OL Dan Feeney: He's a senior on this year's team, but he already has earned first-team All-America honors. OL Isaac Sowells: He was an anchor on the Hoosiers' line from 2002-05. OL James Brewer: The longtime right tackle was a fourth-round NFL draft pick. OL Roger Saffold: A four-year starter and All-Big Ten performer, he went on to a successful pro career. AP Antwaan Randle El: Don't worry, we didn't forget about him. The do-it-all quarterback slots nicely as an all-purpose player on this team and would be a matchup nightmare for opponents. DEFENSE DL Jammie Kirlew: He's among the school's all-time leaders in sacks (23) and tackles for loss (52.5) DL Greg Middleton: He was an All-American as a sophomore, finishing with a national-best 16 sacks. DL Adam Replogle: A lineup mainstay, Replogle started 47 straight games and was a two-time team captain. DL Jodie Clemons: His 12 tackles for loss in 2003 was one of the highest totals by a Hoosier this century. LB Kyle Killion: He ranked sixth in career tackles with 323 upon the completion of his Hoosiers career. LB Justin Smith: He earned All-Big Ten honors in 2000 and 2001. LB Matt Mayberry: Started the final 24 games of his career at middle linebacker and led the team in tackles both years. DB Tracy Porter: His 16 career interceptions are second most in school history, and he's still playing in the NFL. DB Herana-Daze Jones: A four-year starter, Jones finished with 342 career tackles and was second-team All-Big Ten as a senior. DB Greg Heban: He started 38 games and finished with nine career interceptions and 275 tackles. DB Will Meyers: The 2004 Big Ten defensive freshman of the year, Meyers also grabbed an interception to seal a 2006 win over Iowa. SPECIALISTS K Austin Starr: A Lou Groza Award finalist, Starr is most remembered for his kick to beat Purdue and send Indiana to a bowl in 2007. P Tyson Beattie: His career mark of 41.1 yards per punt is fourth-best in school history. KR Lance Bennett: He averaged 30 yards per return in 2003. -

Just a quick note to thank Terry Hutchens for the contributions he has made to BTownBanners over the past year or so. For reasons unbeknown to the BTB Admin and Staff, Terry and BTB have decided to part ways. It looks like he may be locating a replacement. Unfortunately, we found out the same way as many of you may or may not have seen. Maybe IUHoosier41 can log-in and share his thoughts on the matter when he finds the time. All the best Hutch!

Great to humanize the guy but that doesn't grant him free reign to act like a ****** on the court. We all have stories. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I normally rock a goatee and sometimes I get lazy and let my face just go for a month. Now I haven't shaved since early September and am looking homeless. Lol I've trimmed a tad so I dont have a gnarly neck beard but that's really it. Who else has let their beard go this fall/winter? Points for pics! Lol

Yeah but common sense dictates that if it is going to the players then its not going to the owners thus their desire to increase ticket prices to recoup expenses. A la a new tax (soda tax for instance). The store will pass the tax increase on to the consumer as to not effect their bottom line. Moot point I guess as Marty pointed out above. This weekend I finished Leah Remini's "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology". It was an easy read and quite comical. The church of scientology interests me not from a potential parishioners standpoint but more as a bearded lady as a circus sideshow. Lol I'm working on "Lost in Shangri-La" about a US plane that crashes over an untouched part of the New Guinea jungle during WWII. so far its pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

It's raining here. :( Been a steady rain since about 5pm. We went to the horse track for the afternoon. I do love bettin' the ponies. -
That's where my mind was at as well. At what point do the teams price themselves out of the market? I think of baseball and how many teams were required to reduce ticket prices due to lack of attendance. But what the NBA has going for them is that their arena's are much smaller so it's hard to judge. Ultimately, it will be interesting to see where that threshold lies.

I don't think there's a sport that has more bandwagon fans than the NBA. Bleh.
