Yeah, very sad. I was trying to follow online, but was too focused on the Cards game. Just crazy how this season is unfolding. Maybe IU can only play 3/4's of the game.....

Jeff is usually a decent golfer. It seems that since he has had that run a few years back, he's been struggling with a consistent game. Really hope that changes. I love golf, and worked at one for quite some years, we always cheered for Jeff (It was Southern Illinois right on the Indiana border with Princeton/Evansville). We got a lot of Indiana golfers. Really hope he can get it together. Oh yeah, I LOVE golf!

Not thrilled with the cards in the top of the 3rd. Seemed like they walked 2 batters on purpose, and it loaded the bases. Kelly doesnt have great command, but even the announcers agreed. Sent from my DROID4 using BtownBanners mobile app

That's what we want! The new Admins and Mods want this place to be THEE hot spot for anything IU sports, and then some. We've done it before, and we WILL do it here. Luckily, we are here to stay :)

That's what we hope. We know we did on our end here, I just truly hope 247 delivers for our HSN brothers!!! They deserve it!

I won't go in to stories, but the merger of 247 and HSN had to happen for a few reasons. There was a big burden of ColonialCrester and the merger helped him out significantly. The merger here was to get away from 247. It was not to get away from the HSN Mods, they are great guys. It was nothing personal, we just wanted to get away from 247. This place provided a tremendous home for us to take care of. IU Hoosiers41 has been awesome and let us basically take over.

Completely agree. He had a ton of good hits. Marte's diving catch just emphasized Carp's series. He's too good of a hitter to only get one hit in this series. I'm so excited. I like that Waino is set to pitch the game 7 if it gets there for either team. Cards really have to contain the hit bats of the Dodgers. Just watched MLB Network, and they are averaging 6.5 runs per the 4 games against the Braves. Crawford is really killing right handed pitching. Kelly really needs to be spotting his change-up!

Just about to post this. The 4th starter is really iffy. Would love to get Kelly off to a hot start, and get to Greinke. Can't stand Greinke. I think Matt Carpenter catches fire this series.

Oh, I know every situation is different, I was just saying that people assumed we were leaders for GO. Noah was a good friend to GO as well. I really hope we get Devin, I just don't like getting too involved in recruiting.

If I wasn't a Cards fan, I would most likely be a Pirates fan. If they got past the Cards, I would def cheer for them. Very good young team!!! With that said, Let's Go Cards!!!

Hate to be "that guy," but it was said that IU were the clear leaders for Goodluck when Duke dropped off..... I really like IU's chances here better than GO's, but anything can happen.
