Some good prelim fights. Sergio Pettis lost, but he is going to be a beast. Only 20 years old. There was another good fight but can't remember his last name that won by knockout. The 10 points come from 5 batting categories and 5 pitching categories. 5 batting - runs, rbi's, homeruns, steals, and batting average. / 5 pitching - strikeouts, era, wins, saves, and whip. When you select players, you want to try and have all areas covered, or most. Each week, you face a different opponent for those 10 categories. You can get 0 to 10 points, with of course wanting to get 10 points. After each week, your scores are added to see who has the most points. I hope this helps give it a quick breakdown. Mdn, the Bracey Wright comment was hilarious!   You pretty much nailed my thoughts, and most others. I expected a 15ish point loss with not as much effort. I was very impressed for most of the game. Just gets frustrating watching the team excel, and then banish it once MSU tightened it up. More Noah Vonleh, less outside shooting. I like that recipe for success!

  Agree with your post. I will add that some other things got to me this game. Jeff Howard instead of Jeremy in the 2nd, I felt he deserved it. Secondly, which you always point out, is getting the ball to the post. Yes, we did in the first, and we were doing well for how the game was going. 2nd half, it went back to no inside ball except for 3 or 4 passes. Yes, MSU did a better job at defending it, but you have to keep going to it. Stick Austin on the far corner, and the other three up top away from Noah.   When Noah attacked, the defense collapses, which allowed for cutters and open shots. Unfortunately, the team never did that. Noah played a very good game, but he didn't get the ball enough. He's our best option right now, and IU has to go through him. With the rest of the team not playing well and missing contested lay ups, Noah is a must!

I usually don't harp on coach too much, but this is getting ridiculous. No hollowell, but Jeff Howard. We have completely went away from Vonleh, but when we get it to him, there is no spacing. This isn't all on coach, but we went away from Vonleh completely again. The last 4 games, vonleh is playing great, but hardly see's the ball in the 2nd half. Getting real old!!!!
