Got in the gym today. Chest, triceps, and shoulders day with some good HIIT style cardio. Took over for the wife when I got home so trying to get the young one down.
-
Absolutely. I would like to start going more often, but our two boys sleep completely different. Ones a night owl that we can never get to sleep (3 1/2), and my oldest (6) wakes up between 6-6:30 every morning. Don’t want to put both burdens on my wife where she is up late and waking up early. I want to at least take one of the shifts, and she prefers the night one lol.

Someone on Twitter retweeted Adam Howard’s post about all roads lead to Bloomington saying it’s about Knect. No idea if this person knows anything, but wanted to pass it along.

Dog woke me up extra early today at 5. After taking him out, I couldn’t go back to sleep so I went to the gym. Got a good workout in and back before the kids or wife were up. I don’t like waking up that early to go, but it’s nice getting there before most. Only 2 other people there when I arrived, and a total of 7 when I left. Nice getting in and out quickly.

I’ve almost finished The Book of Bobba Fett on Disney+. Been pleasantly surprised so far. Trying to finish it up before starting the new season of the Mandalorian.

When you say significant loss I hope everything is okay!! The mental part of it is the biggest hurdle I feel like when you start having a family and busy work life. I’ve always enjoyed running and been good at it, but laziness and the mental aspect of having less time to do it got me way out of fitness.

If I remember right we follow each other on FB, and you have done an incredible job! My goal is to get my weight to right under 200lbs, and then keep the weight in check except for muscle growth. My biggest revelation this year has been incorporating some sort of HIIT/Walk-Run-Walk into my long distance. Doing the high intensity with short rest has greatly increased my long distance and times.

Haven’t chimed in yet but really excited for this addition. A wildcard that you definitely take a chance on with the amount of potential aware has. Welcome to the Hoosier family Mr. Ware!! -
The Official Btown Banners Beer Thread!

I like to take the claim I started the Kona movement in St. Louis, even though I know that’s a complete lie lol. I did get some people to like it, and then it exploded here. Family is doing great, boys are growing up way too fast. Oldest is starting his first year in pitching machine so he’s really excited for that. -
It’s taken a lot of mental change in things, but my wife has been very supportive of me because it does take time away from her and the kids. What truly got me started was someone in our subdivision started a 75 day challenge, and you could pick any diet or workout plan. There’s more to it that that, but that’s what got me going and on this path. I would highly recommend trying to find something like that, and see if that gets you started. I do better with competition so that really helped me. Let me also say the wifey has been very pleased with the visible results in my losing weight and gaining muscle lol

Mamasa, always good to see you around! Hope you have been doing well! For me personally, I love me some Kona beer, from Big Wave, Longboard, summer stuff, etc. Their lemon grass luau is quite interesting. Easy drink, but leaves a sharp lemon after taste on the tongue, but it’s not as bad as it sounds. I’m someone who doesn’t like fruity beer, but liked this one. -

Won’t be able to help with the IPAs. While my pallet has changed over the years where I can drink an IPA better (used to hate the taste), just still not my thing. I prefer lager’s, pale ale, wheat, Pilsner, and stuff similar. -

Never had it but would definitely like to try it. Love trying different kinds of beer. Need to change the name of this thread to Beer/Alcohol. I’ve ventured into the liquor side more as my years have went on lol. -

Hope to be more active on this thread soon. Anyone drinking any good stuff recently? -
Thanks for posting this. To me, if we get Ware and Ledlum, idk if I see a reason to bring in another big. We would have Reneau, Sparks, and Ware, with Ledlum also playing some 4. Will trust the staff, but would prefer the staff to focus on shooting if we get Ware and Ledlum.

Go Cardinals!!! Screw the Cubs! :)

Would love to hear the PU fan base if this were to happen. Would be a great get if we can land him.

Hey Guys, Shout-out to Cross for reminding me of this. I have set up the draft for 6:45pm central time this upcoming Sunday. Hope everyone can play again, and we have room for some more. If you are new, let me know and I can help you get signed up.

2022-2023 IUBB Roster Projection
JaybobHoosier replied to Five Prime's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I’m a Leal fan and I don’t think he gets enough credit. I felt he should have played more in Stewart’s spot, and helped out when playing. He’s not a starter by any means, but I always go back to the Nebraska game at home (I was there). We were struggling as a team, but once he came in and made a few hustle plays, the team turned it around. Kid deserves some more credit than he gets, and felt he was a better option that Stewart IMO. -

IUBB Players in the Portal/Draft Exploratory Status

Wish people would quit giving Dakich so much attention (this isn’t directed at this). He does so much just for ratings and attention with the profession he is in. I do like his game commentary when he was broadcasting, just not so much his twitter/radio show. Anyway, back to the topic, love seeing Race back, and I don’t mind playing small ball with the Race at the 5 (if TJD doesn’t come back). Just wish Kofi would leave lol. -
I’ve been quiet on this subject, as I think both sides of the aisle have valid points. I get it if he’s kicked off the team, but I also get it if he’s just punished/suspended games. He made a stupid mistake, and was made worse by evading the police. Dude needs to get his act together, and I think Woody can really help him. I do believe in the 3 strike rule so anymore issues he has to be gone imo. If he is retained, hope he keeps his nose clean and will really step into a leadership role. Talent and capability is there, just hope he realizes it.

Also, when Leal came into games this year he instantly provided energy, hustle, and heart that made the team play better. I was at the Big10 home opener against Nebraska, and as soon as Leal got in the team played way better. He may not be a starter, but he’s better than what people are given him credit for. Secondly, Hulls was on a much worse team so he got to play more. He deserves to be on this team and will help!
