Nah... just COULD NEVER predict a loss for MY HOOSIERS.... but not feeling so confident so although I may not get the 25 points for predicting the correct winner I will not lose 25 points for picking the wrong winner... (At least I hope thats how the rules work)

Following recruit prospects on Twitter and posts from here started showing on my feed. Eventually I checked it out and joined.... Seemed like (and is) a great place to talk all of Hoosier Basketball.

So cool. I had no idea it originated with Football, I thought it was all originating from the IU UK rivalry... I remember going to some of those games where both teams had so many flags it was crazy....

  I see you are a "Founder" and I am in no way trying to start anything or get into any trouble with any Mods because I really enjoy reading and posting here.... And this isn't only directed at you, I have seen it multiple times now but this is just the most recent time...   Anyway.... I know IUfan_Charlie has a history of negativity.... and some over the top rule breaking comments.... but I also see him trying to be civil and stay within the rules more and more as I know he was banned and talked to multiple times (from posts that I have read).... Is it really fair to continue to bash on him (Maybe it is jokingly (this time - other times I have seen it from ppl he gets into disputes with)) and then ban/suspend him if he retaliates or defends himself because he has a history....   Sorry just my $.02... I don't know the guy personally or have any interactions with him myself, I just ... well thats enough...

I strongly dislike JH's play.... I wouldn't say I ever want a kid to transfer but I was very happy as his pine time increased.... However at Minni I finally saw something in him that I have heard ppl say all the time... he showed some pride... he beat his chest, he showed he cared what was going on around him..... I actually was hoping he would get in at the end of the game (which I have NEVER said about him before)... I wanted him to replace Gordon so bad!!!!   I really hope it "Clicked" and this is a sign of JH to come....

Got on to say he is talking about it during the Florida game but see you guys beat me to it. As far as UofL we used to play back in the day but I dont think Knight & Crum like each other much so they stopped playing. Don't know why we never picked them back up... But I believe it is not possible now with them in ACC. Kansas would be a good game to get added

Every game I watch that Vitale is on he mentions this... it doesn't matter who is playing he talkes about it every single time....   I do want this to happen... And I think it will (not necessarily because of Vitale) eventually but maybe not until one of the 2 coaches are gone.... both seem to be very adament about their position.... I personally love CTC's position of home and homes, get the full experience.... pUKe plays everybody in neutral sites... But if we were to go Neutral and get the Kentucky neutral back in Louisville it would make it very easy to go for me.....   Doubt a home & home with UofL will happen now that they are joining the ACC because of some rules in the Challenge.... UCLA would be interesting because of Alford but that is a long road trip at the begining of a season...   I would love it if we scheduled the state of Indiana for as much of our pre-conf season as possible, Notre Dame, Butler, Indiana State, Ball State, Evansville, IPFW, IUPUI, Valpo, throw in a few D2 schools or something as we always do...

I heard some of this stuff too.. very embarrasing... From what I heard many of the rooms didn't have light bulbs, had fixtures but no bulbs.... and some had no door handles.... there was a story that came out that a reporter had apparently gotten ahold of 3 light bulbs and was trying to trade for a door handle....   I am glad the atheletes have somewhat better conditions but like said above some of the top Snowboarders are getting hurt because the slopes are too steep and dangerous so more are pulling out of events.   Never want a grumpy reporter either... you know they are the ones that give the rest of the world the picture of the games....   I did hear there were over 70,000 police present though so I don't think there are too many safety concerns... I think if anything somewhere in the outlying region may be some activity (bombing, protest, something) but not in Sochi.

I pretty much do the same as all of you... I put on my candystripes, my Calomeris jersey, my lucky IU draws.... Pour a cold beer into my frozen IU glass, and enjoy..... well as much as can be enjoyed before I begin to yell, scream, and generally frighten my wife, kids, & cat.....

I will be there too... I used to be able to say the same thing and then I attended the Northwestern debacle this year.... Hopefully I get back on track and your streak continues.... Where are your seats?

It was nice to have Will back in the lineup... I think he made a huge difference...

I honestly don't use Twitter much, I have an account and frequently look at tweets but have only sent 3 ever.... But I noticed the other day i was following a bunch of people that I had never purposely followed.... I don't know if I had read something somebody else had re-tweeted or what.... I just thought it was weird and unfollowed those people but it sounds like possibly the same issue you are having

I would agree with that JS... I am a fan of Troy and not of Jeremy and I am not even sure why because their play is about equal... I guess it is like I said I don't perceive any care from Jeremy.... I see Troy getting upset with mistakes. I know that has been hashed out on here before about just because he doesn't show outward emotion doesn't mean Jeremy doesn't care and I could agree with that, just stating that it is my opinion that he doesn't seem to care.   All the talk on here is always about when it clicks for Jeremy... but I want to see it click for Troy and I think that has a better chance of happening sooner...   Troy has a lot of work to do but I am still rooting for him and him getting a few minutes a game isn't a bad thing IMO.

Are you talking about the Jeremy Hollowell that plays for the IU Hoosiers NCAA Men's basketball team? What makes you think/say he is a shooter? He is 67 for 181 in his career 37% (13 for 57 23% from 3 point range) and both of those percentages are down from last year. I am one of his biggest critics so maybe I am biased but he plays with no passion, it is like he doesn't care (and I am sure he does, but I just don't see it).... The last thing I would want to see is CTC sending him in cold to see if he could be another shooter that we would need on any given day.

This statement is soley based on game time performance.... Crean sees these guys everyday in practice too... if Troy is giving everything he has and is just making mistakes (call them Freshman Mistakes) but Jeremy is just going through the motions or seems to have his head other places (as Crean states his focus isn't there).... I have heard (and it is just hearsay) that Troy is in the gym all the time and Jeremy usually doesn't go there unless it is scheduled practice.... I agree that Troy's in game performances haven't been great but if he is still engaged and giving it everything that would be a good reason to me to still play more than Jeremy albeit with less minutes than earlier in the season.

I hope so... I am going to be there and I have never been on the Court.... Give me a pass!!!!
