I hope the NBA & NCAA can work together on some type of plan... I am not really a big fan of making the Freshman ineligible however if the NBA would raise the age limit that would be a great thing for both... I don't follow NBA but from waht I have read the product suffers from too many players coming in and not being NBA ready... and in College some say it suffers because the best talent leaves quickly... If the NBA were to raise the age requirement that would force players to stay in college a little longer, which in turn forces them to be actual "STUDENT" Athletes... as they would have to actually attend more than 1 semester and keep good grades in order to be able to play the 2nd year.   I really feel like this Freshman ineligibility is really just the NCAA's bluff to the NBA to try to help move along the new commissioners agenda to raise the age requirement. NBA doesn't want the NCAA to do this I wouldn't think as then these GREAT talents will be forced to not competitively play the game for a year which would not help them be NBA ready.

I agree the SEC is garbage. But to that point they are predicted to get 5/6 teams into the tourney... One of them should be able to knock UK out... I can't fathom an undefeated season for them.

I kind agree with Maryland's coach, be awful hard to be that accurate if being done on purpose... I mean does he ever miss his target? Hit somebody in the face but not in the eye? Getting your hands in somebody's face (figuratively not literally) is the start of good defense. Offensive player can't shoot or pass well if he can't see

I understand the off court issues. But bottom line is that he is still on the team and his play is improving everyday and as long as he is a Hoosier I will support him. Been beaten to death but we have all done stupid things (I know we aren't held to same level because we are not on basketball scholarship at IU) I live seeing him come in and she down the other teams #1 option.

Don't understand your hatred for Stan? His effort is there, he is our defensive stopper, doesn't matter the position if the other team has somebody on fire put Stan on him and he is instantly shut down

I like Stan getting the start.... Like that coach is willing to make changes and see what happens..... Troy should bring a huge lift off the bench as soon as he comes in... Hope this helps Z as well... diagram the first play for him and see if we can get his shot back in the bucket!!!

After 2 straight losses we better be up for this game... I don't care if it is NJIT or whatever, after 2 losses in a row that we were not even competitive we better come out ready to play.... and don't let up, get a lead and instead of losing the lead extend it.... we better win by at least 30 if any of the fan base is going to be turned around...

That would have to be a hell of a large recruiting class... They only have 8 current scholarship players (per the article). Losing Cook (Senior) & Okafor (NBA) after the season at the minimum that would mean they would have to have more than 7 players signed to be in an oversign situation....

  Because that is part of coaching and recruiting... When you get a chance to see your only 2 current recruits for the next season play at the same time you make every effort to ensure that happens. If he didn't go watch then everybody would be blowing about how he can't recruit and doesn't make guys a priority (especially if something where to happen and we miss on a recruit or have a decommit somewhere)....   And please don't believe that this was our biggest game of the year!!! Not even close (well I hope not anyway).   For the team, for Crean, & for IU Purdue is a rivalry but it shouldn't be looked at anywhere near the biggest game of the year this year. We are their biggest game because even if they don't make the tourney they can spew on that they beat us.... If we miss the tourney and beat them would any IU fan take solice in that? I sure hope not... I sure as he11 wouldn't...
