In Pickems you pick the winner of every game every week.. Can pick the same team every week. In Survival you can only pick a team 1 time for the season.

This. Although I agree with the other parts of your post as well this is the point. Everyone says all other college kids do it.. Hell I did it... But he isn't being punished by the school... If he wanted to stay at IU he could have, and probably under the new policy even gotten some sort of financial aid.. He just couldn't represent the University any longer as a member of the basketball team... Different thing, different rules, different repercussions.

Not really getting all the people who say if you don't play against somebody they can no longer be your rival??? Rivalries are formed over time and for many different reasons, just because you stop playing a team for a stretch doesn't end the rivalry... Rivalries are formed significantly in the eyes of fans... Players are all friends with guys from other team's, even rivals... Fans have a hatred for other team's and other team's fans, that is what creates a rivalry.

1. Is and always will be UK. hate the team, the coach, the fans, the state.. It's all garbage, who has ever heard of blue grass!!!! 2. UofL... They are part of that damn state... Their fans are nearly as arrogant, especially after the last few successful seasons.

Well I am sure he thought there were no consequences... 2 days after being cited and nothing was known except that prior issues didn't mean much... I would be interested if he is still putting himself in those types of situations now that the hammer has come down....   Also young college people are going to party, I just hope he/the team is/are smarter about it... who with, where, when... etc!

Or 28-9 with an Elite 8 appearance.. What about 26-9 with a first round loss... These are not just make believe scenarios... 2014 Michigan had the #1 offense with #109 defense, 28-9 elite 8. 2014 Duke had #2 offense with #116 defense, 26-9 first round loss. 2015 Notre Dame had #2 offense with #102 defense, 32-6 elite 8. Are these the seasons we aspire to? I honestly think our defense will be somewhere in the 60s at the very least... And history says with a top rated offense we could be in for a really fun season.

How would you feel about a 32-6 record this year? Elite 8 exit from the tournament? Would this be considered a good season or a disappointment?

Budweiser is my go to domestic so I'm ok with that comparison. You sparked a thought... As part of Glass' zero tolerance any chance he put IUPD on notice and wanted them to specifically watch for basketball players? Maybe just maybe he sees the problem and this is his way if fixing... Could be interesting depending on what/if any consequences come from this... Or maybe I'm giving him to much respect/credit
