Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my fellow Hoosiers.... Just curious to see what IU stuff everyone got for Christmas.... I got tickets to 2 games (Rutgers & Michigan), IU rubber Bracelets, IU tobagan, an IU license plate frame, & IU cooler/koozie/bottle opener set. What kinda cool stuff did everyone else get?

I think the week difference is big and the remaining tickets will sell. But also the fact as Stu said a lot of people will not be working the week of the Nebraska game, where everybody will be back at it by the Wiscy game. Nebraska is also Big Ten Opener and I think that provides a bit of a surge as people are ready to see something besides Cupcake Eating Contest...

From my perspective from reading the tweet, this is really not an incident or an issue.... Yea I don't particularly like the thought of our guys spending their down time in a bar during the season, but he is of age and maybe there was a reason he was in the bar (celebrating something with friends etc).... Unless I hear he was driving or doing something more than just being in a bar I don't see the issue here. This is not the same as prior years with Fake IDs and Drinking & Driving situations.... this is a college kid of age hanging out in a bar (as far as I know of the details).

I would assume you are saying over JN? Cause we are already starting 3 guards (JBJ, ROJO, JN)... Heck 4 if you count Juwan as a guard (I know at least 1 person who does) But I do like Cujo, I think he is smooth with the ball, needs to get more confidence to take some shots but has a pure stroke as well.

Is it confirmed that Hartman won't be back this year? I hadn't heard that, last I heard there was still a chance.... Until last night 1 of the announcers mentioned he was out for the year (but I don't put much stock into things they were saying).

I am sure glad this isn't for $$$$, I would have Pitchforks at my doorstep...

I have VERY high hopes for him and his ability to be our next PG.... but at this stage I get very nervous with him in the game, he seems very fast (which i am sure Crean loves), but also very erratic, I think he already has better vision and makes better decisions than JN, but he can't quite make the plays on the court as he sees them in his head... think he is trying to over compensate for how much faster the college game is vs high school game..

HAHA I feel like I am the opposite.... Seems like every game I go to is a victory... even back in the bad years... in 2010/2011 I went to the Michigan & Minnesota games, 2 of our 3 conference wins that year..... Michigan a couple years ago (for the Oladipo dunk that wasn't), Michigan St the year before that i believe.... It is a running joke around our house about it... It works for Football too, I am a Buffalo Bills fan so wins are few and far between, this year I went to Buffalo for the Arizona game, (we won), and I went to Cincinnati for the Bengals game (we won). So anytime you get tickets in the future, just go ahead and send them to me...

To me there are a few key differences in TB & DD as far as getting the ball down low in the post. 1.) Defensive Game-plans.... Other teams are aware of TB and are doing everything possible to keep him out of the low post. When DD is in there other teams are frequently deploying a different defense or at the very lease a different defender (giving their main big guy rest the same time TB is getting rest). 2.) Patience - TB wants the ball and doesn't care where he gets it, his post up only lasts a second and then he flairs out to the wing, Guards don't even have a chance to get him the ball down low. DD on the other hand fights hard for post position and keeps the seal, guards (and TB when he has the ball on the wing) have ample time to feed him. TB is always cutting out towards the perimeter instead of ducking into the paint... if there is traffic he runs away from the traffic instead of just stepping in front of the traffic and staying down low. Butlers size (or lack there of) is another opportunity for TB to play down low but I am already ready to scream at the tv when TB is in and praise DD all game long.

I think our staff has started to take notice of this a little more... Curtis Jones played with TB on the AAU circuit right? and also new Rob Johnson.... I think with how national recruiting is now you can pretty much find links within any high/mid rated group of players though. They also have to be the right fit for the team.... Character, Team needs, etc... However I don't know of any connections between Romeo and any of our current roster nor future recruits....?

Don't think OG will get any run this game, got another week to play it safe between games, no need to re-aggravate anything today. With the speed that HB plays with I don't think we will get too many (if any) long stretches with no field goals allowed, but their defense is poor so we should win every segment. I want a fast game with low turnovers.... We are 338th in the NCAA averaging 17.1 turnovers per game.... even with the fast pace we want to play at there is NO way we should be that bad/careless with the ball. Our pace doesn't create turnovers either (we are ranked 308 in Turnovers Forced) so why not try a press or something... I know that wish has been beaten into the ground...

Wife and I got our tickets in the mail today for the IU vs UofL game.... Not exactly what we hoped for but not too bad... Only 16 rows up but in section 1 (baseline section)
